

wont launch. all drivers up to date. i7-9700kf 16gb ram 2080 super
the splash screen shows and then immediately the game exits. have tried closing any interfering apps and running as admin. no wonder they tell you no refunds when you hit install before you even play.
@ubi-mark thanks for the reply. ill start by saying I've tried all of that. I even did a clean boot of windows and lost everything to be sure its not my pc. still nothing. i am not alone on the issue either it seems. crashes straight after splash screen
@thomsegregore yeah mate its ubisoft not you. as annoying as it is try not to let them tell you otherwise. they will patch it in their spare time eventually
@sofajockey played 8 hours after went live. based in aus. the game started ONCE. havent been able to open it since
i cant even launch with a 2080 super. its known to support team but they haven't even sent it off to be looked at by devs judging from what I can see from their "known issues being worked on by devs" this isn't even on there. they are still "gathering information" this patch should be priority but likely isn't coming anytime soon. after 3 days I might just hit refund.
cant really just keep troubleshooting per pc set up with support. its clearly a patch needed issue
@bellaende its Ubisoft's end and don't be hopeful for a patch anytime soon. 99 percent of people can play. likely a hard bug to squash.
@mcutillo seems a large issue as i have it too. have also tried everything. contacted support. i think its likely they will not fix it as its not even in the known bugs and its a minority. they will likely just take the money and focus on bugs that aren't as difficult to fix lol

the game will occasionally launch after clicking play for about 15 minutes. I have logged about 5 hours so far and the game itself runs smooth. however something is stopping the game from launching 99.9 percent of the time. is any fix for this upcoming?
