We told you we do not want to see any boring stat boost although the things we could decipher from you low quality picture which was uploaded like this intentional was only stats boost. There is nothing original and interesting about this project anymore. You just put this series intentionally in the ground. I am done with this farce! The silencing of the community, the cherry-picking of your super fans, the attempt of trying to sell us this starcraft 2 clone BUT more expensive and with less features. You have done it! @C4ssy5 When the comment before this is deleted again: There is a petition on change.org for the settlers to show Ubisoft that we do not care about their settlers RTS but that we want to have back what was promised in 2019. A more sophisticated version was shown back then and it got scrapped to follow a quick trend and set the settlers on the path to ruin with a bad copy of an AoE4. No idea why Ubisoft is ignoring everything even common sense to push their failed vision with this marketing strategy. The postponing of the game had the community hoping for a release of a real settlers - and that was what the version of 2019 provided. How does Ubisoft think that will play out? Working on an already failed vision and when it get released you will just here the following: Why did you scrap a good game to bring out a bad game and where is this what was promised?

@Rysox_ST That would be great - and adding the other missing features we are asking for since january. But they just do not care! We waisted our time all these months at least this farce is soon over. They needed almost 1 year just to add the basics of a videogame and to retexture some assests. This is a complete joke. And the project was so promising when it got shown to us in 2019.

@Ubi-Barbalatu Revert the game back to the version of 2019 and stop trying to convience us that the current garbage version is good! We don't like the new version, we will never like the new version. The Settlers is not a fast pace RTS and it will and never should be one. Stop bending every established mechanic in The Settlers to fit to your RTS-style game. Release the version from 2019 and support it with good DLCs as with Anno 1800 - and everyone will be happy.

And finally listen to our critic and answer our questions:
Where is the singleplayer? Where are the features from 2019? When are we getting infos worth out attention and time? Where are the teased surprises which should sway us over?

Will there be something for singleplayer or is this entire game only focused on multiplayer? Everything heared so far is just for the multiplayer - even worse: everything so far just gets dumbed down to fit for multiplayer. Why is the feedback getting ignored? The overwhelming majority of players want the settlers shown in 2019 - to settle, build and expand a kingdom. All you give us is a waterdowned, streamlined, abomination of a wanna-be E-Sport game. Let settlers be the settlers! Give us the version from 2019 and then develop your RTS you desperately want to shove down our throat.

But nothing is here. On your last post you said something about surprises (and boy... i sure hope this ain't it, because this is nothing ordinary). There is this enourmous elephant in the room and you keep tip-topping around it:
Will features from 2019 - the alpha version - come back?
Will there be walls? Gates? Tower expanding your territory? Proper defenses?
Will there be more units added?
What happened with all the buildings not included in the beta will they come back?
etc. etc. etc.

So what was the point for the postponing of the game anyway @ChrisGansler Initially, we all thought that this is a good sign but for almost one year you just keep fixing minor mistakes without addressing the underlying problems. When you plan to release this game next year it does not change anything as the game is flawed to begin with and fixing it in just one year is impossible. The better version of 2019 started development in 2015 and was developed for 5 years before you postponed it in 2020 so how can you think to develop a game in just 3 years that has to be better than the previous version. For now, the opposite is the case - the current version is a complete disaster. The forum is dead. Most player jumped of this project. And even the ones remaining are disappointed every second week by this posts.

So just realise it and be done with it. Saves us all a hell of a lot of time. Realise it, see that it failed and stop working on it. The version of 2019 we were hoping for is gone and you do not seem to care to bring it back. Even in the trailer for the new map you show an old building we could build + walls. But now it is just one of this boring landmarks no one wants or cares about.

@Ubi-Barbalatu @editorial I would even accept an Early-Access Version of the version form 2019. Just so I can finally play this game. I waited since the initial release in 2018 and was hyped after each new post in the settlers alliance.

I would pre-order this game right now if it would be the version of 2019. Or as so commonly suggested: The version of 2019 as endless sandbox mode brought back into the game - I would pre-order it right now!

@ChrisGansler Maybe there will be a "Classic"-Mode with the version of 2019. But I doubt it - you have to be smart to see and release what the community wants. I mean over the past months this was definitely 100% not obvious in the comments.

@OldTokken24 R.I.P Settlers. It would have been great to have had the version of 2019 but the community was proven right: Ubisoft never intended to make a settlers game. Instead the project was hijacked but some tyrant who desperately wanted to prove his worth. And he failed miserably and the community has to bear the consequences: No settlers.

But also: No money for Ubisoft. This will have massive consequences for Ubisoft and i would not be surprised when they need to close their doors one final time because of their incompetence. Whoever lets something like this happened what happened here is not competitive enough in the market.

@Zetisek You are in this 5-10% of people who like this game. When the number is even that high. It genuinely baffles me how some people come in this forum read all the negative posts and upvotes on that posts criticizing the current version and still think that they are in the right because they like the game. What ever the case might be for liking the current version it is just disturbing that when you see the version of 2019 compared to the version now how fast the game has deteriorated from a "must-have" to "do you really expect me to pay for this".

Anyway, I have no faith for this project left so does the majority of the players. Most players were so smart to jump this sinking ship when they saw the initial presentation in the beginning of the year. For the people who saw the beta and still think this is a good game, go and download Starcraft 2 it is for free and the current version copies just everything from there and makes it somehow even worse... You will save yourself 60 bucks. No reason to buy this game. For those who have preordered: Try to get your money back. This game will just disappoint you when it is released in its current form.
