Alfred was a sickly child and a sickly man possibly suffering from Chron's disease, in the game though he seems robust and healthy. Apart from that nothing really bothered me and I know the history very well indeed, I'm not really that fussed about deviation as long as the gameplay was good, technically speaking this game does not even take place in England which was yet to be, and wouldn't be fully realised until his Aethelstan Aelfred's grand son beat the Scotish invasions securing Northumbria for good. Essentially your looking at a sort of civil war since The Angles Saxons and Jutes were Aelfred's and his peoples ancestors and were from Denmark, although a case can be made that enough time had past to now call them something other than Danish, the invading armies were though mostly from Denmark, with some norse and Scoti. Anyway I really am not fussed about changes unless they are huge, because at the end of the day it's a game and the gamplay, and content are far more important than anally adhering to precise historicity, besides if I want Historical accuracy I'll read a history book or two. Loved The Paris DLC BTW.
@devourcolossus That might be encouraging you to go over to AMD, I mean I hate to be cynical but ubisoft are basically getting BJs from AMD atm, so why should they care about Geforce, in fact it wouldn't surprise me if they were deliberately making optimization issues this is what large companies do and are told to do. More likely than a conspiracy theory though is that Ubisoft simply does not give a [censored] about optimizing Geforce. That's capitalism for you.
The OPs issue sounds like a setup/card issue more than a general issue I have a GTX2070s and I have no problems with it running on 4k runs smooth as silk on all ultra... Maybe it's something to do with the new 30 range cards? Difficult to say though... maybe it will be fixed with a card update/software update, I know Graphics card companies recieve complaints from people about specific games and games companies do talk to graphics card companies although Ubisoft are probably closer to AMD atm, anyway I am sure they will try and figure out the issue if they haven't done so all ready.
My monitor always says it is running at 30FPS or less, it is wierd, as it is 4k UHD so you'd expect it to be about 60 or <. But according to the left hand corner of the screen with FPS turned it is not. Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone had any thoughts on why. I have to say it plays like its 60fps and looks like its 60fps anyway so I Don't really care, just find it very strange.
