After collecting the bone biter axe from Norway I had the axe in my inventory for a few hours of gameplay. However after I loaded to a previous save where the axe should have still been in my inventory at that time, the axe had completely vanished. When I returned to Norway to the place where the bone biter axe was found the chest was still empty.
