@la_elly NOTE same issue but it is February 13 2022. Disc played fine in December and I beat main story fine. I was trying to get back into the game for the new DLC. And if anyone is wondering, I DO NOT play while its updating. I let it finish, start, and just get this slap in the face "cant start the game or app" blah blah.

@apple5333 if you want realism, probably shouldnt have Eivor doing parkour everywhere. That surely didn't happen. And castle sieges also lasted more than 10 minutes. In fact, this game has almost no historical realism if that's your standard for play.

@ubingmitta Here is what worked for me:
Xbox X.
With "Meet Faravid" i changed to glowcaster and completed the pledge. Sigurd played Jarl in a cutscene. I took a nap in my bed (since another poster mentioned this). Came back to meet Faravid where the glitch was - there was a 20 sec delay but cut finally played.

If none of that works, it is also 9am where I'm playing and I haven't had breakfast yet. Maybe these ridiculous conditions can help you through a ubi game. Like we need a video to know these bugs break the whole game...
