Darby McDevitt and Ubisoft have been lied for all these months.
You'll play for the 80% of the game like female Eivor.
Now,I already know that a lot of people are ready to say that I am a poor and crying man Who can't play as a male, and you're only a bit right.
In fact, some of the games I've played, have female protagonists: Tomb Raider,Horizon, Marvel's Avengers, Uncharted the Lost Legacy, etc.
So my problem isn't female Eivor, but the fact that you let me choose male Eivor and then you practally say to me:"No.You made the wrong choice".
This is the thing I really hate.
In fact, when you will finish the game, you can sit in the garden in the present day as Basim.
Then you will see a figure who seems Odin and, even if you choose male Eivor, you find female Eivor under that Hood!
So,after saying for months that they were both canon, Ubisoft should give us answers, because when they said these things there weren't default choices, there weren't bul***its about the reincarnation.
There were a lot of players that like me said:"Fantastic!I can play always male Eivor and be canon".
But we know how It has ended.
The second final message has finally been translated by the team of Access the Animus, but this isn't the most important information.See what a member of the mentors guild who works at Ubisoft wrote...
- this explain
Assassin's Creed had a lot of protagonists Who felt love and for me it is an important thing that a protagonist has someone of special in his/her life, because we know very well how much the assassin's life can be bad.
Anyhow in Odyssey and Valhalla the romances aren't default and the we can choose our lover, but this thing a bit ruin the franchise, because like I said the romances can be very important in the story of the game, but if someone can be romanced, we won't get the same effect of the other games.
The only thing Ubisoft can do,but that the probably won't do anymore,is putting a default romance like in Odyssey.
Personally I am one of the few people who liked that romance.
I've always thought that my version of Alexios at a certain point would chossed to have a family, but like I said this thing will change in Valhalla.
We have the possibility to have also a long term relationship, but I had thought it would have worked different.
They said that after a group of missions you could date your lover in the settlement, but this thing doesn't have an impact on the story.
After the East Anglia story,I finished the Petra's missions and began a romance with her.I liked the fact that finally I could have a "real" girlfriend, but with the time my opinion has changed.
During the story a lot of important events happen in the Eivor's life, also in the settlement.
And when these happen, what does Petra do?
She is my girlfriend, but She practally doesn't care me.
This One of the reasons because of I began a relationship with Randvi After the Gunnar's wedding.
She has been more present in the story.
Also if Petra was my girlfriend,it seemed that Randvi was her.
So I hope that in the next DLCs,also the new yule festival, and in the next games we will feel more the impact of the romances in the missions.
Thanks for the answer.
I am very happy to see that someone agrees me.Like all you can see there are a lot of different opinions. So I hope that in the future all the community of assassin's creed will vote here.Ubisoft must hear us to avoid new mistakes.
- i still think Ubisoft lied
The siege of Paris should be a sequel, because the story of the game ends in the year 878 and the second siege of Paris-the one of the DLC-happened in 885-886.Technically also the coronation of Flann Sinna happened one year after the end of the game, but the narrative director of the DLC said it is set before the end of the main story.Anyhow I don't think they will change the date of one of the biggest events of viking and french history if they remember that it is an Assassin's Creed game and not a fantasy game.If the Valhalla's post-launch support will be the biggest and strongest as they said,I can't imagine that all DLCs will be set during the main story, because Eivor doesn't have so much time and so many reasons to leave an England still full of opportunities.Seeing what happened to Odyssey,I don't also think that we will see the moment of the second journey of Eivor to Vinland,as we didn't see Alexios or Kassandra remains in Atlantis.

Thanks for the answer.
Hey,I've begun to download the new update without cancelling first my game. Will I have to do this thing after the download or will I be able to play soon after the update without problems?
But Valhalla has still main and DLCs' missions(as the festivals' ones)that,in my opinion, work in the same way.So they have material to work with. Moreover the petition whose link is present in the discussion will be considered by Ubisoft if it gets 500 signs,so it isn't completely impossible that Ubisoft will make a story creator mode for Valhalla.
Ragnarok. Moreover xjonathan as also found a mission where somehow Eivor and Rollo meet Caesarion, the son of Caesar and Cleopatra.Personally I think that this won't be the plot of a full DLC considering that the Kassandra one's nature. So an eventual fourth DLC will be something of totally unexpected and I'd like if it was a DLC with Hytham as protagonist, because I think that they could
Like a lot of fans surely know, in these months we have gotten interesting informations about a DLC set in Svartalfheim and another one set in Scotland with Kassandra. Now it seems that Pedder,a releable dataminer, has discovered that the Kassandra' DLC will be a group of free missions,so it won't be as Wrath of the druids,Siege of Paris and the third DLC,which should be called Dawn of
