I like the PTS, but there are a few things going on that while minor, disqualify it as a PTS.
The Signature Weapons should all be 100% Unlocked. Only the Demolitionist is, everything else has no points to upgrade the perks.
The PTS Caches - having the 50+ Items, it takes almost 1:35 seconds to go through all those items. a Bypass i discovered to fix that is to use Q/E to move to another menu and then back. Was accidental i discovered that.
The just now reported bug of creating a new agent to get all the gear and test it out, led to a locked out crafting bench at the "Superior" rank, locks players out of certain crafting perks to make builds. Whether intentional or not, also kinda ruins the experience.
Otherwise, I do like Countdown and the new gear/weapons.
As far as Countdown is concerned:
It is definitely in need of some tweaking. Its faster than a raid, requires less team-planning and more action. but some more puzzle-based should be included. I've noticed some 'interesting' things about the objectives for Countdown, and just being OCD about it as a IT/Engineer makes no sense to me why some of those objectives you would even want to do.
"Breach the Reactor" is the biggest one, ummmmm......... you DONT want to breach a reactor by any means! we are trying to STOP the meltdown/shutdown, not create one.....lol! Breaching a Reactor core would do exactly that.
I know its a game, and its all fictional stuff, but that definitely gave me a "Wait, we are doing WHAT?!?!?" moment when i first saw it. had a good laugh about it on VoIP and several other players were like, ummm yeah, thats definitely NOT what we want to do.
