Every so often the Stamina bar is not where it should be
@orcbeard92 Cause this game is not great with animations that aren't preplanned. I can't count the number of times I've jumped on the back of a boar and then proceeded to slit the throat of the tree or boulder next to it.
For the second time in two weeks I did not get one of Reda's opal quests.
What happened the first time is they both showed up, and I selected both before exiting the dialog, and I noticed I didn't get the "multiple quests accepted" message.
Both times it's been a beast kill and a person kill quest, and I only see the quest marker/quest entry for the beast kill mission. Last time, I immediately reloaded, and the person kill showed back up at Reda, but selecting it again didn't give me a message I'd accepted a quest, create a quest marker, or add it to the quest log. Once I'd completed the beast kill quest, no amount of reloading would get Reda to give me another quest, so I just flat out missed out on 5 opals.
This time I was in a hurry and I didn't notice if it had the same symptoms, beyond the fact that I selected both and only got 1 quest as far as the game was concerned. Again, once I completed the beast kill, Reda wouldn't give me another.
Using version 1.2.0 on PC.
After this last attempt on cairns, I thought I'd wander by to express my feelings.
I hope whoever created them is traded to Disney and made to hand draw animation cells in the basement for minimum wage.
I hope whoever designed the PC controls for cairns has ten years of unexpected encounters with poison ivy whenever they leave their house.
/s mostly, but still very salty.
Post Update 1.2.1 I've encountered two incredibly irritating things that were not occurring prior to it.
The first is constant crashing. Sometimes it's as often as every hour or so. I've seen nothing that they have in common, but I've been sending in a crash report each time.
The second and probably even more annoying is that quicksave just stops working. I know most of the things that prevent quicksaving and it's none of them, as evidenced by the fact that at the same time I can't quicksave, I can manually save. Quitting to title screen and reloading so far has always fixed it, but it sometimes comes back as soon as 5 minutes later.
Both of these continue to occur after verifying file integrity. I'm on PC, playing through Ubisoft Connect, not Stadia.
@yesin069 From my limited understanding, the patch schedule has something to do with the fact that Stadia wants every change submitted weeks before release so they can test it themselves.
While this is based on some offhand comments in various forums, it's backed up by the fact that every game I've played that also appears on Stadia has also lengthened their patch schedule, so I believe it.
@thefatnoodle No idea if it's the same issue, but I was having really annoying white flashes covering my entire screen when in cutscenes and eventually tracked it down to the depth of field option, which I had to turn off.
Hope that might help someone.
It's 8:19 PM ET here, I've got season pass on PC, there's no additional download and the new building isn't letting me build it.
I seem to be having this same issue. Took a long break from Valhalla not long after mastery was added, at least in part because I got the wierd looping cutscene issue trying to start it.
Now I come back, and it says I have to progress further in the story. Okay, I figured they changed the requirements to start it, no big deal. So I beat the main storyline, still won't let me start it.
I'm starting to remember why I took a break.

@ubi-mark Sure, here's a video of the two maps I'm having issues with:
So as you can see by this, the mouse over power description for Lagertha's Axe says it increases crit damage when surrounded by more than 3 enemies.
However, when you inspect the axe for more details it says it increased crit damage if surrounded by 3 or more enemies.
So the descriptions are contradictory as to what happens when surrounded by 3 enemies.
@ubi-wan When I reloaded from a save later on, the quest was gone. Though to be fair, my irritation was it being undoable, not that I thought it would stay around forever.
The issue is that those group of people can be friendly or hostile depending on dialog choices. What obviously happened was someone else chose the hostile choice and got killed, and later I got the revenge quest, which is impossible to do since I chose the friendly dialog choice.
I've never encountered it before, but I don't imagine any of the other dialog choices that determine if you fight someone or not are immune.
Seems like certain maybe-enemies should be flagged to be excluded from the avenge system.
@thojo97 I had this exact issue, and it was fixed by turning off the Depth of Field graphics setting.
Hope that helps.
@ubi-borealis If it helps, for me it seems that the issue is that the dead body of the fisherman isn't giving the ring, rather than the note isn't giving the ring.
As you can see by this screenshot, the body indicates it has loot, but cannot be interacted with. I can only assume that's where the ring is supposed to be, because I can't find it any other place. I've read the note and killed the bandits, no ring.
So in Eurvicscire, during the quest where you hunt "traitors" in the ruins, I chose the option that did not turn them hostile despite already having picked up an revenge quest for someone who apparently lost after turning them hostile.
So now I'm stuck with a quest that cannot be completed.
As you can see, the kill quest target is considered to be an ally so I can't complete the quest.
I'm having the same issue, both with small boats and the viking longshop. I can hook them, but they just swim around under the boat, then suddenly deploy their boat motor and zoom off into the distance.
@thorhammer96 As of 8:32 PM it's now downloading for me.
Woot! Go ahead and check now!
