Okay, I somehow managed to get gold on this one. Even though I somehow managed to lose that stuck guy completely. He didn't spawn anymore. Kinda weird.

@ubi-borealis I'd say it happens 99/100 times I start the challenge. Theres no pattern in which he's stuck or not.

He's already stuck in the beginning. I can't approach him. All I can say is that he's triggered when I don't kick the other guys in that area down but try to kill them by fire. But he's not alble to get out of his "trap".

@ubi-keo Maybe I did the math wrong, I'll check that out later.

And I already tried all the tricks with leaving/reloading/fast travel/older save. He wasn't stuck once but I died on that try and afterwards he was stuck again.

That should be possible, but it would mean I need to kill the main-target via firekill. I wasn't able to do that, so I hope there will be a fix for that guy.

I've got the same problem with that guy. He's stuck, doesn't react to anything. Loading an older save an starting the challenge there worked once, but on restarting the challenge he's stuck again.

Found out it was my mistake. Had some trouble with other bugs where I had to load older saves back then which got me confused. I haven't done the Oxenefordscire arc on my newest save yet.

I finished the questline in Oxenfordescire but forgot to collect the gear in Cyne Belle Castle. The door is now closed again and theres no way to get the gear. I don't have an older save anymore. Any ideas?
