What the hell? I'm actually super annoyed (well, im more then annoyed, but i need to pretend it less so i don't get banned here) its the sixth main entry in the series and the FoV still snaps back to its default super low value when using a vehicle, and now horses are a part of the problem. The moment i got on one i was instantly nauseated by the motion sickness, all those accessibility options but this simple thing is still not fixed. The embarrassing part is that its a fixable thing, modders fixed it in 5 and ND so even being aware of the complexity and scale of game development this being a problem is still inexcusable. Why is this an issue Ubi? seriously, it makes vehicles unusable for me, incredibly disappointing. Please fix this, it has legitimately huge impact on the game for me.
When i first saw the ammo system in the previews i was hoping it would be a simple system where different types would have different minor bonus that let you tweak your playstyle a bit. Instead the went the route of Wolfenstein: Youngblood and balanced the whole system in the dumbest most stringent way possible, the damage penalties for using he wrong system completely and utterly ruins the combat, instead of it being an extension of player choice you are forced to use the specific ammo types against specific enemies, ironically completely removing all player choice from the equation, the whole system is ridiculous and makes no sense and its just completely frustrating. Every time i enter combat i feel like i made the wrong choice in my loadout and its sucks, because instead of just letting me use what i want, when i want, against whatever i want, i have to use the right ammo type or be harshly punished. In 5 and even ND i felt spoiled for choice whenever combat started or for what i could choose for my loadout, i felt free to use whatever but now i just feel strangled. I'm extremely excited for the inevitable balance mod that strips out this poorly thought out system entirely.
About 20 hours in and i haven't experienced anything like you described. Put AP rounds on everything and shoot the head. No bullet sponges.
Just discovered that it also lowers back down when you are swimming. Like seriously [censored]? i really hope this crap is fixed, incredibly frustrating and nauseating, its good to know I'm going to get motion sickness the moment i touch the water. And as far as i remember this wasn't even an issue in 5 and ND, what's going on over there?
When operating any vehicle or while climbing there is a very aggressive camera auto center "feature" that is frankly more frustrating then helpful, at least on PC. During those long drives with autdrove on or those long straights journys on a boat i like to you know, look around, im not doing anything else other then hold W so it would be nice if i could look somewhere else other then straight ahead. But instead i spend more time fighting the camera as it slavishly and aggressively yanks itself back to the center view now matter what. A simple toggle in the options menu would be nice.
When you upgrade a turret or ram they change appearance, sometimes quite dramatically, and sometimes not for the better. they definitely get more bulky which looks super weird on the smaller cars. a simple way to choose the look would go a long way. One turret in particular gets a bunch of boat parts which look super out of place, and another ram goes from a sturdy military looking thing to being an airplane wing out of nowhere.
I played back when it launched it wasn't this bad. but now im playing again and im getting a really bad stutter when moving the camera. Here is a pic of whats happening, the spikes happen when i move the camera.
A simple, but annoying little input quirk that makes flying planes with the keyboard more annoying than it should be. if you are rolling left or right and then press the key for yawing, the roll will cancel, even if you are still holding the button. So i press and hold 'A' to roll left, and the press 'Z' to yaw to stabilize my roll, but tapping 'Z' causes the game to act like i'm not holding 'A' at all and i need to press it again. The opposite is also true, while yawing, if i press the input for a roll, the yaw will be canceled. It makes flying very clunky and jerky. This may seem a bit overblown, its such a small tiny part of a huge game, but i like flying a lot and i want to use planes more often in my setups, but this super small thing is hampering it.
The heli control in FC5 and ND were great, especially considering the fixed first person perspective, they were smooth and responsive. but now they are awful, truly awful. I dont know whats going on, its seems to be trying to emulate a joystick, but its so bad, clunky, unresponsive, slow. I hope this is fixed.
Im having the same issue. I have the black market version of the AR-C, SPAS, 1911, and MGL, and i failed to unlock everything except the ar-c for some reason, i have that one unlocked.

@weam-dreaver the weapon menu lies. Follow what i wrote or spend the rest of the game looking for the weapons.
@korzac81 Those guns are tied to specific treasure hunts. I made a post about it on reddit. https://old.reddit.com/r/farcry/comments/q60h2f/looking_for_the_m16_arc_1911_mgl6_spas_12_mg42_or/
Agreed. I was impressed with how 5 handled helicopter controls considering the always first person perspective. So it's bizarre they somehow completely messed it up for 6.
Just popped back onto these forums and wow, i didn't expect my post to blow up like this, usually it gets buried. Here's hoping Ubisoft fixes this.
I've seen lots of people looking for these guns. Despite being "standard" weapons like all the others they are not bought from the store or found in FND caches. They are instead found in specific treasure hunts, and yes, the tooltip outright lies. Also the P226 is a reward from a late game main story mission, its unmissable if you do the main story.

There is an obnoxious mesh bug with the Caveira gloves when using the MG21. i wouldn't normally complain about this, i would just use different gloves, but this is a premium store item i spent real money on this item, so they should be held to higher standard. I hope this is fixed eventually, these are my favourite gloves on my favorite LMG.
Here is a picture showing it off:
