I have played this game alone and with my friends for about 26 hours so far,. Although the scenery of this game is beautiful and the gunshooting experience feels good, some basic systems are great.Except for bug issues, which is common in the new release game. Its a pity that I found out during the game that there are still many very obvious shortcomings in terms of difficulty design.
-A military dictatorship that claims to have 300,000 troops in the plot, that in every military stronghold, whether large or small, there are generally no more than 10 soldiers scattered patrols?Even if the alarm is sounded, only at most one helicopter and a small number of enemy vehicles will come to support, which makes triggering an alarm not seriously increasing the difficulty.
-On the main road, there are occasionally one or two unsuspecting alone vehicles and extremely rare individual tanks (this is very ridiculous). even if the player is driving the tank, they still must be at a very close distance to alert.
-When an outpost or stronghold is liberated by the player, the army will not organize a counterattack. In fact, the Yala army has almost no organized military operations. The army does not operate according to even the lowest organization(like a platoon or at least one class), but joins the battle sparsely. This let players almost unnecessary to sneaking or flee in anywhere. This also makes the battle not like a partisans facing an organized regular army, but still like a far cry 5 against an untrained militia.
-When the player is wanted,it will be no more than one helicopter and two armored vehicles to chasing the player, and there will be no blocked roadblocks on the road to prevent players from continuing to drive on the main road. The chase is very easy to get rid of, which makes the secret partisans route(that a very interesting design)no need to be used.and which In reality, these roads were made if in disadvantage to avoid being searched by the powerful enemy army.Even in the capital where the presidente is considered the most powerful in the plot, driving on the street is still very safe, which is frustrating.
-The player is not like a partisans fighters, except occasionally some are on the side of the road or in the main storyline, there is almost no NPC teammate, and there is no way to call the guerrillas to join the battle. The player is just like a lonely hero. The guerrilla life only exists in the plot.
-These shortcomings will become more obvious in the co-op game, which makes the player unable to find enough enemies to fight, the battle ends quickly and lacks challenges, and the irony is that far cry 6 has added various powers this time. The weapons make it easy for a single tank or helicopter to be solved, making the game simple and uninteresting more protrude.
This makes the whole experience of this game like a walking tour, not a guerrilla war.
Why cant let the army be truly organized to be more threatening and challenging?such as at least twice as many patrols in the stronghold?let the army marching on the main road in a formation of at least three vehicles?Make alerts and wanted more dangerous?Let the enemy on alert start to enter the state of combat earlier and farther?Let the enemy organize an effective counterattack to face the stronghold guarded by only a few guerrillas after the player has captured it?If there are some strongholds with really efficient military guards, such as more than 3 tanks and sufficient air and follow-up support, which allows players to really need to use heavy weapons or skillfully use those interesting weapons, or makes sneaking more important, instead of making any battles too fast when the player drives tanks (even two tanks in the co-op) or uses special weapons, that end boring and simple like often face now.
Sure, some man may argue that players who are not good at the game or who do not like these challenges should also have the opportunity to experience the game, so keeping the existing difficulty for these players is also an option.we know that far cry 5 has 4 difficulty options, but now far cry 6 only has two.
Of course, maybe my views and suggestions are not suitable for everyone, and as a player, I may not fully consider the hard work and difficulty of the game developer staff, but I still think that I should raise them to discuss these issues and concepts.
@c-pick I completely agree that although I belong to the player who thinks the game is too simple, I also think that higher challenges should be set with a new difficulty, rather than changing the current two difficulty options.
@guydodge On the one hand, there are too few enemies in the game. On the other hand, the way the enemies appear is very annoying. Two people appear in a corner far away from the player’s perspective. There is no threat. They only prevent the player from occupying the stronghold. It can only be said to be annoying not a challenge.
In fact, what really should be fixed is the way the enemy reinforced way and the number of enemies in the base.
first of all, the number of enemies in the stronghold should be at least 20 or even 30, instead of just under 10 forever as it is now.
then the reinforcements should come in a motorcade from the entrance of the base and get out of the car to disperse, and should come to more than 10 enemies at once, instead of just two men sudden appearance in a distant corner as they are now.
Then there should be barricades when player be wanted to prevent the player from continuing on the main road, rather than without any effective blocking like now.
tanks and helicopters will hardly pose a threat to players in the game, and the timing of their appearance and the role they play should also be more concentrated.
In any case, even if they don't fundamentally change the game (which is a lot of work for developers), they should at least increase the number of enemies to a reasonable level on the one hand, and change the way they appear on the other hand.
This is the most stupid and ridiculous attitude to what's going on right now,I condemn and criticize the Russian invasion of Ukraine and call for peace. But that doesn't mean that I should treat everything in Russian history as sensitive and enemy history. The Soviet Union is also part of Ukrainian history, and even the one of soviet leader,Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, was Ukrainian.I can't see why a Soviet-themed pack would be taken down,What's next? Delete all the Russian agents in Rainbow Six siege because they are Russian?
To oppose Russia's invasion of Ukraine does not mean to oppose everything about Russia, oppose their history, their people, their culture.if anyone agrees with that, he is acknowledging that the Putin government stands for everything Russia. Now there are no Russians against the war? I do not think so.
I can't understand the point of this stupid relevance censorship, and I hope it's only temporary, not that if there is a political conflict with any country, everything about that country or even its history is removed.
@harsha131313 Now it is clear that this game has many imperfections, especially the lack of new high challenge difficulty options (giving us more smarter enemies), and the follow-up content after completing the entire plot.
I wonder why they didn't add the arcade mode in far cry 5 to far cry 6,I think that is a very funny.
If there is anything that allows players to continue having fun after completing the game campaign, these two are undoubtedly very important.old players from farcry4 and 5 will sure like and enjoy the arcade mode and map editor, why not update them later?
@sidsixt of course I agree with what you said, but I don't see any justification for this kind of scrutiny. It will soon be absurd and unhelpful to eliminate all history and culture of a country just because of what it is doing now.Not anything relationships with "Russia" is support russia.under such prejudice and narrow-mindedness, will "Russian pacifists" be considered wrong and hostile just because they are russian?was the soviet will be declared not to have won WWII because it had russia in part?this kind of short-sighted tampering is just disgusting, not a sense of support the Ukraine people or peace.
@deathshot75 This is a problem that many players are aware of now. I hope Ubisoft can add new difficulty to eliminate these effect in the mini-map and give to more than double the enemy and reinforcements in the stronghold, than the more vigilant enemies combination, and let more tanks and helicopters appear on the battlefield.

@Ubi-Milky I hope you can notice that there are some Chinese players who have entered the game fall into infinity black screen after the update.

Obviously, if development team can hear the voice of the players who bought the game of first release, which the game is in waiting for next updated, that these effective improvement will let them to gain the real trust of players.
Yes, the enemy is rarely very scattered, and officials should take note of this.
@ophtho77 I once thought about a complete suggestion about the operating mechanism of the army in the game(https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/114441/the-current-difficulty-of-this-game-is-too-low-especially-in-multiplayer-co-op). Although the difficulty problem is very obvious now, I suspect that Ubisoft Toronto’s current focus is not on this issue.
