@blackzealot999 They really diverged so far from the other games. No perks, no sense of liberation or progression, no human companions, and the use of third-person (really?). I was confident they wouldn't screw this up after 3 years since the last game. Farcry 5 is my ALL TIME FAVORITE game I have ever played. Farcry 6 scrapped everything good about previous games and left us a shell of its former self.
@vahndaar haha I destroyed two boats with a supremo and I didn't even turn around and two more just appeared out of thin air. Castillo must have some high tech military stuff! I hope they patch this too!
I love the entire premise of the Farcry series. Liberating a map from an evil enemy dictator is so excilerating, but the entire idea of liberating a country means that I should be able to see the RESULTS of such liberation.
I am very sick of completing missions and liberating compounds, castles, tobacco fields, and blockades just to see that once the mission is complete, NOTHING changes. The enemies are still there, they still spawn, and I'm trespassing on the island I have LIBERATED. The enemy flag STILL flies. It doesn't make sense and breaks the entire sense of immersion. The only places that actually get liberated are the way too scattered outposts and roadblocks. I miss Farcry 5 where the cult would retreat from areas you LIBERATE. The American flag replaced the cult flag wherever you traveled. It's what made it feel so fun when I conquered territory and freed the citizens of Hope County!
It sucks when the blockade I blew up is still there as if NOTHING happened. It sucks when the dotted red lines, enemy flags, and hostile territory remains on the island I LIBERATED. It's as if the progression of the story and my acts to liberate the island amount to nothing.
Please, please, please, resolve this issue! Can you let me know if you will do anything about this? I spent too much on this game to not get a TRUE Farcry experience!
I destroyed the blockade and it's still there.
I liberated the tobacco field and it's still hostile territory.
I destroyed the AA gun position and enemies still spawn there.
I took over the Spanish castle but it's still a major stronghold for the enemy on the island I captured.
I hear Castillo's propaganda and face his unlimited respawning soldiers in the town on the island that I liberated for the Guerillas.
It just breaks the immersion and sense of progress and liberation for me...
I don't really feel like I am liberating anything. I don't sense that feeling I got in Farcry 5 when I literally drove the Cult from Hope County.
I've spoken to several friends and community gamers who refuse to purchase the game because of this very issue. I hope it is resolved!
Thanks!

Do you guys think you could add at least one or two human amigos for the game? I miss driving around with a companion in the car with me or on the machine gun turret from Farcry 5. Companions in that game were excellent!
@ubi-mark Thank you for the update. It's great when we gamers are heard! Could you also pass on the hostile territory and towns issue? I destroy AA guns and liberate towns but they are still marked hostile. If this was intentional, it doesn't make much sense to me and breaks the immersion of liberating the island.
@ubidoof_sugs yup. Ruins the immersion for me. At the very LEAST it should be OPTIONAL. It can't be that hard to change.
@carshop22 Farcry 4 had something like that where outposts you captured would be attacked by Pagan's army. It was epic to see real-time war taking place like the front lines of battle. The sad thing is so many of these awesome aspects of the Farcry series appear to have been abandoned, but I still remain hopeful they can fix this in future updates.
