@drwest644 Indeed - it’s just bloomin rude!
We pay for these games; so @ubi_milky please update us as to the progress of this extremely annoying bug. The game is broken. It needs a fix, and we the players deserve an update!
@ubi-borealis Happy New Year. Don’t suppose you could at least confirm from the devs that they have replicated the problem and are working on a fix?
As a techie I am quite confident that it’s a patchable issue (some kind of VRAM asset management leak); but I think it would make a lot of the players in this thread a bit happier knowing that it is a game issue and not their rig at fault. Perhaps you could ask the devs to at least make some kind of acknowledgement of the problem please?
Thanks (and praying to the old gods of Yara for a fix before the FHD find us)…

@ubi-milky erm; That sounds like corporate bs to me! So many players here, with all levels of hardware and all started getting the awful performance following the exact same update and you are seriously asking us to believe that its OUR fault somehow? Please tell me you don’t actually buy that for a second?
I think enough is enough and I would like you to please reply to us mugs in this thread how to get a refund on this now broken and rather shoddy product that is simply not performing up to it’s expected standards.
Thank you
Having same problem here
Palit 3070 Gamepro
3900X CPU
32GB Corsair
Gigabyte Master X570 mobo
Looks like the game isnt unloading assets/textures from the cards VRAM. Gets up to just over 8GB while the game craps its pants a 6fps. Grrr
Benchmark generally tanks around the 50second mark
I’ll wait here for a patch
Just an update. After the latest update I decided to give it a go last night. I played for about 20mins (all the time the VRAM was hovering around the 7950MB used, (out of 8192MB on my 3070). After building up my hopes that this issue was fixed; the game crushed my hopes like a bug on a windshield! Wallop down to 3fps Grrrrrr.
Please UBISOFT can you tell us that your devs had identified or at least replicated this damned issue. At least that would give us some hope that you guys are working on a fix.
I am very displeased that it has taken this amount of time and still we have no firm confirmation from you, that you are even looking at the problem! This is unacceptable. I am starting to think that the many people talking about refunds maybe correct. Or maybe there is some avenue towards financial recompense for a product that is not functioning as advertised.
Please could you share your results and investigation progress.
@ubi-keo OK so you want me to disable stuff that worked fine up to the December patch, as you think it might be my system? Nah thats just side-stepping the issue. As so many here have the same issue then it obvious there is a problem with the game introduced in December by you. If my system somehow downgraded itself while I wasn't looking, then it doesn’t seem to have affected any other title including the mighty Cyberpunk 2077!
Please stop insulting us with these first line tech support questionnaires and get us some proper Dev support in here, I just want to continue playing my campaign, but your shoddy software won’t behave.
For the record I don’t use the overlay and tried the HD Texture. No change
@mickharnas So basically your roof is leaking and you decided to "fix" it by getting a bigger bucket?
Bloody SPOT ON!
GAMER: "Hey my game works amazingly well on my powerful gaming PC"......
UBISOFT: December update lands....
GAMER: "OMG Now its bloody awful"
UBISOFT: Oh it's your PC, please send us 2years of logs, videos, your bank details and a stool sample; so that we can wait a few months to tell you your PC must be [censored] so please try running in 480x640pixels in 8-bit colour mode
GAMER: ....
Screw this I am demanding a bloody refund as this is a stinking pile of smeg!
Hey Ubisoft, would you be kind enough to at least give us some sort of update on this issue? I think you have a ton of data and have had plenty enough time to at least repeat the issue in-house.
It’s not asking much for you to keep us paying customers in the loop.
Does anyone see a fix for this issue yet?
I see there was an update for my game client yesterday (may have been earlier, just haven’t turned PC on lately) - anyone here see any change to this issue in It?
