@dricui You have to understand that these adapters that MnK players are using are controller emulators, therefore all that’s being detected in game is controller input. The only half decent thing Sony have done regarding PS5 is that the DualSense chip cannot legally be replicated, or certainly not that I’m currently aware of. So XIM can’t be used with a DualSense and the only way PS5 Siege can be played is with a DualSense. However, with the likes of Belaoder adapters, it seems these players have a workaround.
But to put it lightly, there’s actually nothing Ubisoft can do to detect these players. As frustrating as it is, the only semi-decent thing that could potentially be done is for Ubi to allow native MnK input for all players, and thus these adapter players would be at a disadvantage. Needless to say, there are many factors to consider; if native MnK were to be implemented, there’s a lot of speculation on if whether or not they should be allowed to go against controller players or if they should have their own lobbies, as it’s undeniably a tremendous advantage and since XIM is a controller emulator, the problem wouldn’t be resolved.
Unfortunately, as of yet, you are forced to either deal with it, or join the players doing the same thing. But one thing I can promise you is that this isn’t going away anytime soon, it’s been an issue for years, just like how last gen and current gen players are forced to queue against each other, which is another off topic problem.

I can’t be the only one wondering, but is there actually a valid reason for last gen players being forced to play against next gen players? You’d think that with a game like Rainbow Six Siege and frame rate contributing significantly in gunfights, there would at least be an option (especially for last gen players) to turn this off in the game’s settings? If PS5 players have the ability to go back and forth between the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game, surely it’d make sense to force them to play on the PS4 version of the game if they desire playing with and certainly against PS4 players.
Needless to say, it would be far better and make even more sense for a setting to be implemented into the game where both PS5 and PS4 can switch this off/on whenever necessary.
Personally, I think Ubi don’t do anything about this, because if same family consoles were to be separated, this would divide their player base and thus lower it in the two separate generations, which is undoubtedly a “no-no” in their eyes and interest. It seems the safer option is clearly to force last gen players that are at a disadvantage to queue against next gen, as the player base would then at least remain whole.
I don’t think I need to argue how much of an advantage next gen players actually have against last gen, especially the Series X|S players with the likes of XIM Apex and all these cheating devices being easier to combine with the 120 FPS. This is undeniably something that needs to be addressed, but let’s be honest, it won’t. It’s bad for business.
