@eilegz same here, I just came back to the game too after being gone for a long time. I start playing and it won't be long before I crash. It doesn't crash to the desktop but the game just totally freezes.

So was looking at all the sales on the ubisoft store and I was just amazed at all the assassin's creed stuff and it got me thinking about Assassin's creed 3 and how I loved that one, I know a remastered version came out a few years back and felt like purchasing it. So I go to the ubisoft store and for whatever reason it's not on there which I find weird because there is what looks to be every other assassins creed game on the store but this one.

Any reasoning for this? I would like to purchase this game.

Edit: NVM I just typed in "Assassin's creed III" in the store instead of "Assassin's creed 3" and it came up lol

I turn my PC off every night. Whenever I log in all my launchers boot up however the UBI launcher always forgets my info even with me checking off remember me and remembering my desktop at the 2 step verification. Why is this? I've checked settings and nothing seems like it would change this. I check off both options when entering info that's supposed to allow the launcher to remember the info but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

@racdavies well I just did a windows update, did a verify files and optimized the game thru the geforce experience (even thou it seems as if it has all the same settings) then launched the game thru geforce and I got to play and it didn't crash. Will see how long this last thou...

The non stop crashes with this game is unbearable now. It has gotten worse are worse each update it seems. Actually when this season started it wasn't that bad. I was able to complete the season track with minimal crashes, maybe 2-3 a day.

Now thou, I cannot play. I crash every 5 minutes. Just booted up this morning to try and start the new manhunt objective. I actually went to my stash to make a new loadout/build. And actually did so without crashing. So I said to myself whoa maybe it's ok now. That was short lived. Ran out of the whitehouse area south a bit cuz I just wanted to test my build. No lie the first mobs I encountered the game started stuttering like crazy with frame drops then complete freeze.

And what's worse, everytime you crash it doesn't seem to send a crash report because of the strange way it crashes. The game freezes then the screen turns semi white and the windows prompt comes up saying close program or wait to respond.

So after you go back to windows instead of seeing an ubi-soft crash report sending the data it doesn't do that at all, you just see the sync achievements like the game thinks you just turned it off.

How the heck are you guys gonna figure out these crashes when it bypasses the crash reports? I am getting so annoyed with this game. I love the game, it's one of my favorite shooters cuz I love the combat and builds but good lord it's at the point where I think I just might give up.

@ubi-perseids this is the only error message I get. I get charged 19.99 on my paypal but instantly get refunded it as well.

edit:p.s. that was just from a few mins ago, I tried again. still didn't work lol

@ubi-perseids in game store. No I havn't tried the website version cuz there's a special purchase in the division 2 for 20 bucks where you also get a mask and that's not located on the website version.
No VPN either.

Anytime I try to buy premium credits with paypal. I get an instant refund from "Xsolla Inc". I guess that's the company name. (Weird name btw) Credit card works fine but not paypal. And yes I have the funds in their.

I asked in game chat on PC if anyone had issues with this and many responded with the same that they couldn't use paypal either. Not sure if you guys are aware of this but it is a thing.

@valkurie exact same thing happening to me, I can't play for longer than 10ish mins. I verified files hoping that would help but it happened again. So I literally uninstalled the game and did a fresh install. Happened again.

@agent_ares yeah game just freezes. It's more of like a stall and windows ends up having to force close the game so it doesn't look like a crash report happens.
