Am I missing something, or does this version of Assassin's Creed not have any on-screen instructions for side quests? It seems the only instructions are for the main quests.
In previous AC games if you started a quest in the world you had something on screen to help you. Now you get nothing except what may be told verbally. This is wrong. What is you get distracted or have kids/wives who interrupt you and you miss the banter between the characters that tell you what needs to be done. This has happened to me several time.
This is a good game, but it lacks things that other AC games have always had, and I can't but think that this studio just cut corners.
I also dislike that I can go into a community, fight everyone, and cannot get to treasure because it can only be gotten with a quest. If that's going to be the case, don't let us in that community and waste our time. It's beyond frustrating when that happens.
I've also ran into areas where I get stuck and cannot move. I was fighting a wolf whenI went out of bounds. The wolf knocked me down and I never could get up to go back in bounds. I have to start over because the game would not let me get back up.
If more AC games go the route of not giving you some information about ALL quests, then I'm gonna reconsider. This game has been more about puzzles, and while I don't mind it, it is not much fun when I have to guess at what you want me to do. I don't have the time to figure out what I missed from a cut scene.
Also, get rid of these chasing floating papers/songs. I got to where it's part of the game I completely ignore.
