@deathshot75 I've noticed this as well, it's very obvious when going in and out of the swimming animation. Swimming is another one that restores the FOV to default temporarily, then zooms back out when you stop swimming and get out of the water. It's very important they fix this, it makes the game quite difficult to play!
@komputerwelt If you're having trouble changing settings in game, particular resolution and such, look for a file named "gamerprofile.xml" inside Documents/My Games/Far Cry 6
In here, there is some XML which is where your settings are stored. There is a part called "VideoModeProfileFullscreen" that has the resolution information. You can use this as a reference, it's from my computer, but I have a 144Hz 1440p monitor so this may not be perfect for your screen. Especially the refresh rate, that is likely to be incorrect for you.
<VideoModeProfileFullscreen adapterIndex="0" displayIndex="0" windowMode="0" width="2560" height="1440" hdr="0" refreshRateNumerator="143856" refreshRateDenominator="1000" />
<VideoModeProfileWindow adapterIndex="0" displayIndex="0" windowMode="3" width="1920" height="1080" hdr="0" refreshRateNumerator="0" refreshRateDenominator="1" />
I can reproduce this problem in tanks. The "Vehicle" section of Transport has another sensitivity slider that does nothing if you increase it. Tank sensitivity remains the same even if you increase that slider.

@troygamesfire In this mission, aren't you supposed to pick up the brother's body and run? There is a tank position that you have to make a risky cross later on, but I completed that part without a lot of issues.
Though, the second phase, the vehicle escape sequence, was incredibly difficult! I think the spawns are not the same on every attempt. I attempted this many times before completing it, and one some of them, there was three helicopters that spawned. Only once I saw a tank, but it was unmanned. I don't think it's the same every time to attempt it. It's a very difficult sequence, unfortunately.
@powderedgolem I noticed this as well! Particularly when driving or swimming or performing certain similar actions, the FOV reverts to default temporarily until you complete the action. This is most obvious when swimming - as soon as you get out of the water, the camera will adjust and restore your correct FOV. During swimming, it's incredibly narrow. I really hope they fix this soon so the FOV setting applies to all actions, all the time!
