Were you trying to make the most ridiculous game of the franchise?
The supremo, really?! What the actual [censored] is that?
Car bumper attachments, again, what the [censored] is that?
Overheating silencer, yet again, the [censored] is that? I'm no weapon expert but I highly doubt a silencer overheats after 10 shots and stops working for a few seconds.
Resolver, I'm a man of few words I guess because, again, [censored]?
Libertad paths/roads, I love how more than half the roads are only used by libertad yet, when I set a way point it won't use them so, gj on that.
You basically took a bunch of stuff (not necessarily the best ones) from the previous titles and combined them and made this game.
It is still decent, immersive and fun but man am I frowning all the time.
Also, the two difficulty levels, how I wish you were more accurate in your descriptions, I picked story mode since I like to explore more than anything and description seemed to fit that but, yeah, again, [censored]? I was standing on top of a tiny house with like 4-5 enemies shooting at me, took them at least a minute to kill me to kill me. Description should've been more like: story mode, for blind people who wants to try anyway.
Carry everything, just reset the story (not treasure hunts since we'd already be carrying the guns) and FND/LIBERTAD boxes. Maybe have something like dying light did with the legend skill tree, not a skill tree obviously, since you've taken this out of the game but idk, maybe the ability to combine armor sets together to have better bonus because right now, gears are underwhelming.
I think people expect too much from games now and that includes me. Especially big titles like this one.
@dv20katana Now that you mention it, I did get a 'just cause' vibe. And yeah, a lot of goofy stuff.
As for far cry 7, it will probably be in russia and I surely will enjoy killing putin and his army of turds.
Ok, so you moved my post but you did not answer it? that's nice.
After playing a while, I feel like you've put so much efforts into making the world "complete" with a lot of depth that you've neglected some "core feature"
Like fast travel, half of the time I try to, it says I'm in combat when in fact, my radar isn't even blinking, there are no enemies around but just because of an explosion I made caught the attention of soldiers 1km away I'm considered in combat? Sure they heard the explosion but there is no way they know it's me, that's silly.
Also, very often I can't fast travel because (I guessed/figured) I'm in a radio conversation, now I suppose that make very little sense, but for the sake of the argument let's pretend you did this so we do not miss key information by canceling a conversation, now that would make sense but considering the freaking dialogues trigger E-VE-RY SINGLE TIME we get close to a target, that's actually a major [censored] feature.
The wingsuit controls, "Lshift" to open, that's fine, "spacebar" for parachute, again, that's fine, "e" to cancel wingsuit, also fine but the moment you get close to the ground, "spacebar" stops working and "e" becomes the parachute key... who came up with that?
Cockfighting controls, by default, moving is stil "AWSD" but the attacks are "JKL" who taught of that? Same person who did the wingsuit controls obviously. I realize I can change the key bindings, I already did that but seriously, fire whoever made the default controls.
As much as I love the game, the issues mentioned here are driving me nuts and quite frankly, makes me want to slap some of you in the back of the head.
It's always easier to [censored] about the negative aspects than it is to compliment the positive ones so here's some positive feedback.
I take back what I said about Vaas dlc, it is a really nice one, I did not like it at first because I walked into one of the three final missions with only the starter's pistol. When you take it slow, it is much better.
Not sure if I finished the whole stranger thing missions yet, only did the stolen c4 mission and escaped the bunker. Either way it was a lot of fun, scary as f (the escape) but a lot of fun.
And finally, considering the depth of the world you created really worked for the immersion, of course there are many things I did not like, as mention in other posts but overall, it was a really fun experience. I really like the insurgency feature, I do not think I had it in me to start a NG+ considering that in the previous titles, you had to gather the collectibles all over again and that was dumb as f so thank you for creating a new way to stick to the game, I just which this would've started sooner and have outpost attacked during the campaign like in FC5 but no big deal.
Also, some people might find this silly but, FC6 makes me enjoy music I don't normally like and that tells a lot about the immersion of a game, I think. Never thought I'd enjoy viva la vida loca while doing drive-by shootings in a game. O.o
So, cheers!
I'd say keep playing, it gets better, I did not like it at first and I cried about it on the forums but now I love it. Of course there are frustrating things but what game doesn't.
Not sure where you got that impression about not capturing outposts but there are like 25 of them iirc, add to that checkpoints (which to be honest aren't really exciting but they're there) plus AA sites and as greg said, you can now reset outposts like in the older titles. (not sure if you have to finish the game first though)
Only things really different from the other titles are radio towers, you can't stop the radio propaganda in regions by capturing them and that sucks because it gets very annoying when you spend a lot of time in restricted areas. Hunting is not a big part of the game anymore which is nice. Skill trees are gone and were replaced by armor sets which was a questionable choice but I can live with it. Other than that, its still another far cry
I've seen old posts about this, I probably made one too and yet, months later you still haven't done [censored] about it.
What kind of idiot thought of making them this way in the first place? If at least it was included in the music control slider I wouldn't mind turning it on and off but nooooo, you decided that we'd have to listen to this [censored] every single time we walk or drive by enemy territory or take back an outpost and since taking back outposts if 99% of what everyone does in this game, yeah great idea, morons.
@gameguru2018 It is a nice touch, I agree with most of what you said, even though the part where you asked for louder propaganda sounded like sarcasm but anyway, the fact that you can't do anything about it is plain stupid, FC4 had propaganda iirc but once you captured the radio tower in an area, the propaganda would stop in said area, Making the speakers not breakable makes no sense, besides, with propaganda that loud, the soldiers would probably not hear gun shots which again, makes no sense.
Make it as loud as you want, I do not care but let me destroy the speakers or turn them off, like the small radios which when turned on and off will sometimes attract guards.

Does not seem to always work as I looted money from enemies she killed, oh well.
What do I need to do for her to collect money? She stood on a corpse for 30 sec without looting so I approached to loot thinking it was ammo, nope, it was money -.-
@rickidoo2010 That's what I do sometimes but if it was Dani who was actually wearing headphones, we would not have to listen to the propaganda speakers blasting their messages all over the outposts and bases.
And as for the soundtrack being available for purchase, I think that is [censored], I got the ultimate edition or something, I think that should come with the soundtrack, I don't even think the collector edition has it.
I think people expect too much from games now and that includes me. Especially big titles like this one.
@gameguru2018 Oh, alright, my bad.
Yeah I guess heavy metal could ruin it but I just meant the music that is already in the game because when I drive to a mission, most of the time I end up parking on the side of the road to finish listening to the song before I do the missions.
As for the eating while playing I'm guessing you mean eating in real life? If so there is an auto pilot on cars. Not sure what else can be done about it.
I feel like enemies see through walls or something, I can't capture outpost without raising suspicion, bodies are hidden, no way to be seen and yet, guards just randomly get triggered and start running all over the place looking for god knows what.
