Edit: I was able to solve this issue! The glitch seems to be caused by a tattoo inventory item.

By the time I tried to interact with the treasure hoard location at the Abbey, I had a number of tattoo items listed in my inventory. These items usually disappear from the inventory when you go to the tattoo studio and interact with the owner.

So I went back to the settlement to offload all tattoo items from my inventory, including the Crossface Head Tattoo.

After that I returned to the treasure hoard location and I was finally able to pick up the treasure. I didn’t get a reward because for some reason I already obtained it somewhere else, however I was able to interact with the hoard and the treasure map disappears from the inventory correctly as well.

@ubi-mark I am having the same issue with the Suthsexe treasure hoard map from the Monk’s lair which leads to the hoard at Chertsey Abbey. I have the Crossface Head tattoo in my possession already (which apparently is the reward for the Chertsey Abbey Hoard, but I am 100% positive that I did NOT loot it from Chertsey abbey treasure hoard). I assume that this was one that I bought from one of the standard ingame traders. Now I am at the supposed hoard location and cannot interact with or loot the treasure.

Taking the post from the other user into account, I would assume that there are some double items between store and treasure hoards (like the Crossface tattoo)and if you have the item that you are supposed to get at the hoard in your inventory already, the corresponding treasure seems to bug out. Any chance I could try and get rid of the cross face tattoo so we can check this?

@ubi-keo I can confirm that this issue persists on 1.4.0 - I have the treasure hoard map for Chertsey Abbey but I can’t pick up the treasure as it does not show up at the corresponding location. I have the Cross Face tattoo if you need this information, see it in the menu at the tattoo place but cannot remember how I obtained it.

Hello. I would like to confirm that this issue persists in 1.4.0 on PC. I have the treasure hoard map for Chertsey Abbey but I can’t pick up the treasure as it is not showing up at the corresponding location. I would also like to confirm that I have the Cross Face tattoo at the tattoo studio but if that information is required, please respond.
