In my case the game didn't want to start at all and showed a popup that my video card wasn't supported/good enough and gave me an option to sent the crash report to Ubisoft, everytime I tried to start the game, over and over again.
The solution to this (in my case) wasn't updating my videodrivers (which were up-to-date) or downgrading them or buying a new videocard, but updating Windows 10 with update 20H2!
[I had to unlock my hostsfile first from my AV program and rename the hostsfile temporary to be able to get this update, as I had some rules in there which blocked the update from Microsoft servers.]
After this Windows 10 update (although my videocard is below system requirements with my Gefore GTX 1050 Ti) the game started without any problems and also no crashes in-game!
Hope this helps some of you as well. Btw, I didn't had the HD-texture pack installed, but can play with pretty high quality settings in-game.
Regards,
