Mine is a Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 with a i5-12600K Alder lake CPU. I have done nothing to get it to run. It just runs fine for me.
But like I said I don't have any problems running any of the Anno series games. Plus one other thing is I'm running Windows 11 too.

You have to install Ubisoft Connect first. Then login and it should show the game. If not you can add the key in there too. Just click on the 3 bars top left corner.
I have started this game and played it over 6 times.
I have been with Anno series games from day 1. I have never ever had any problems with any of them.
One thing I can say is if any of you are OC your computer. Disable that and see what happens.
In the past most of the Anno series games don't Over Clocking.
I have a i5-12600k - DDR4 memory and running windows 11. The 1st time I started the game it crash. But the 2nd & 3rd time it played with no problems.
Plus I installed it on that computer just to see if I was going to have any problems. I'll have to play it for awhile to really test it.

Have you tried to check engine file? Go into documents and click on 1800 folder. Then click on the config folder and click on the engine file. In there see what the game is running at. Mine show Dx 11. You can change stuff in there and then save it.

I know the old forum is still there. Yes changes are necessary to make things better. I said to myself if they made another change and left things behind. I would be done with the forum.
This is the same company that still can't fix directx 12 in 1800. Plus how long will they leave the old forum up till they close it.
One other thing is the old forum really didn't get a lot of traffic. The last thread was like 3 months ago. So do you think the change is going to make the Anno History forum any better I hope?
I don't know how long you have been playing the Anno Series games. I have played from day 1. They is a lot people put their heart & soul into get this info out to people. Once again we will lose it again. Do you see a Mod asking about this info NO!!!
Last time they did this I was told that there was to much to move over???? I was lucky enough to have a link to the old from. They just made a new one. They just close the other one down. Not like this time you can still see the old forum.
This is a Stickey over there with all this info:

I have been around from the old Sunflower days. Every time they make changes what they think is for the better. It really isn't we lose so much info every time.
But again I'll have to go back and save as much info as I can. So when some body is looking for something I can post it.
What again another change and again we going lose good info from the old forum???
Plus again we all have to start with Zero post count again ???
