How is this still confusing, to you guys and the devs.
The respawn rate is NOT working as intended it is FLAT OUT BROKEN.
It doesn't matter where you are in the world, respawn rate in ANY location (but particularly ANY "restricted" areas) is broken. You want a specific location? How about EVERY SINGLE RESTRICTED LOCATION IN THE GAME.
Stealth is a huge pain in the [censored] in this game because every single time I try to clear out the base stealthily a sniper respawned in a tower somewhere (even if I killed him already).
The ONLY way to play this game right now that doesn't involve a MASSIVE headache, is guns blazing because your respawn seems to be based on line of sight and not location/proximity.
I am going to re-iterate, this happens EVERYWHERE this is a CORE problem with your respawn system, not a "patch each location individually." If you play this game for 1 hour and visit ANY restricted based you will see what we are talking about. How you guys still fail to understand the problem is beyond me.
I am about to quit playing this game because of this nonsense.
EDIT: Also this isn't about difficulty, it's about stealth being possible but a massive headache because you need to kill the same enemies more then once in the same location without even leaving the location in the first place. Then if you take more then 2-3 minutes (not having left the restricted are mind you) to collect various containers and resources, you have to kill the same guys you just killed 3 minutes ago. All the current system does is discourage stealth because it will be faster and more efficient to go in guns blazing and wipe out everything in short order (rather than taking a bit more time trying to be strategic and stealthing an entire base)
Ok, so at this point it is absolutely clear to me that the devs actually LIKE the fact that enemy's respawn WHILE you are in a red zone. To them this is "working as intended." Apparently enemies respawning WHILE you are in a base zone is 100% intentional.
Ultimately this means that stealth is a pointless exercise in frustration because while it's totally possible still, it is FAR less work just going in guns blazing and taking things out much more quickly and efficiently. That way you can "beat the spawnrate" so when enemies ultimately respawn in the base you are currently clearing out, you will have already been mostly done with it and you don't have to waste time stealth-killing the enemies that inevitably respawn.
Whelp, looks like I am done with Farcry 6 as the devs have made their intentions and thoughts 100% clear in this topic.
I haven't seen such a pathetic dev response since Dawn of War 3.
I will have to make sure to be more cautious of my purchases with ubisoft in the future so I don't end up wasting my money like I did with Farcry 6.
I won't ask for a refund, it was my fault as the consumer for trusting ubisoft and buying this game before I did more research. Lesson learned.
Hello there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding the investigation into the enemy respawn rate you have encountered whilst playing Far Cry 6. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences regarding this issue, as these are very helpful when examining this behaviour in-game. When sharing your experiences, please provide as much information as possible, such as the locations where you've experienced a high enemy respawn, or if a particular enemy seems to be respawning more frequently. We can then ensure that your report is added to the relevant investigation.
Currently, the development team are investigating high enemy respawn rate in the following locations:
If you are experiencing a high enemy respawn rate in another location, please can you provide us with the following information:
I'd recommend uploading any videos to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread. Additionally, please can you ensure that you have an up-to-date copy of your save file uploaded to the Cloud? This support article can show you how to do this. We can then forward these new reports to the development team for further investigation.
@nikdbeli & @The_Sherrif - I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing enemy vehicles respawning into the world at a high rate. Do you have any videos that demonstrate this behaviour in-game? We can then pass this along to the development team for a closer look.
Thank you![]()
....
You guys are just the worst. This was the last Ubisoft game I will ever buy simply because I trusted the company...
I can no longer trust ubisoft will make good decisions with new games and support in the future, I am going to have to vet every single game you release so I don't waste my money going forward.
xD...
Yet another "non-reply" that ignores the concern and puts the work on us to test THEIR game and report THEIR mistakes...
If it hasn't been made abundantly clear to anyone concerned about this issue, Ubisoft does NOT care about the overarching problem. They just keep posting the same drivel that completely ignores the bigger issue at hands while requesting we submit a video of every single "red zone" in the game.
This will NEVER be fixed, so anyone that has been waiting to play this game because of this issue, just cut your losses and move on.
@ubi-thrupney
The problem, is this can be EASILY reproduced at every single restricted area in the game. The only exception seems to be bases that you can actually take over, those appear to have proper spawning in them. If you want I can name every single restricted location in the game for your "specific examples."
Just search youtube "farcry 6 respawn" and you will see tons of results.
Honestly, it's laughable how the devs think the respawns "are in a good spot" when you have posts like this topic and these:
https://www.reddit.com/r/farcry/search?q=respawn&restrict_sr=on&sort=relevance&t=all
The devs clearly have no intention of fixing the issue and actually like the fact that enemies respawn while you are in a redzone near immediately.
Time for me to move on as wasting any more time in this topic would be a completely pointless endeavor.
