Anyone else experiencing this? All the NPCs in missions and in heroic control points are the same. I played DCD, invaded Lincoln, and the bank today with all of them spawning the same archetypes in batches. The bank was annoying because just passed the elevator before the vault was nothing but heavy machine gunners.
Lincoln was annoying because the courtyard was nothing but elite medics. Wouldn't have been so bad but the revive downed enemies so quick that it was just a game of wack a mole.
Also noticed NPCs have gone back to hiding out in random places or taking off out of the combat zone during control point take overs.
Anyway, I'm on the xbox series X, just wondering how many other people were experiencing this and if Massive had any idea why it's occurring.
@oatiecrumble my bad, I edited the OP to specify that I'm talking about scavenging points. When you click on that to add materials or credits, it's a single button press.
You are correct, the main attributes can be added by D-pad. Sorry everyone for the confusion.
P.s. if this does work for scavenging points, I'm clearly getting too old to operate my controller lol.
@oatiecrumble I read a while back that you could, but it's never worked for me, so I figured it was one of those internet things lol. Maybe I am just doing it wrong.
Edit: just jumped on and tried. D-pad does nothing even when combined with A. I'm chalking this technique up to a gaming urban legend lol.
I am at watch level 2230 and when I make a new character I have to press and hold the A button (on xbox) each time, 2230 times when I allocate points on Keener's watch.
I think sliders (like diablo 3) and/or an add all feature would be an awesome quality of life improvement for people creating new character or allocatig points on alts.
Obviously this isn't the most important thing to dedicate time to, I just think it would be a nice addition.
Edit: I'm specifically talking about the scavenging points.
@midniitemangler The building one in NYC is the worse and if you screw it up (missing the correct hour of the day or dying), you have to do the long arduous task all over again. I have one hunter left in NYC (the one where you click the button in the garage, then another in the church, then shoot the bell tower) and just can't bring myself to do the puzzle again after dying to an elite patrol that spawned during the fight.
I hope they don't do the puzzle / altar summoning thing again. Not only is it annoying, but I feel it also puts the hunters in the realm of the supernatural rather than a badass secret faction; which I am not a fan of for this series.
