Ubiflop, it's about time we make the realism mod (The Spartan Mod by Vandhar) official. Integrate the settings that's embedded into the game in the immersive mode settings.
You've made a solid game after all these years with a lot of content. Enable us to have some longevity with your game.
We've had some great video content from a few in the Ghost Recon community show casing this mod, and it reflects the type of difficulty that many of us need in this game.
Unlike most, I prefer Breakpoint to Wildlands and the settings in this mod will make this game more realistic and tactical. Ubiflop, do the right thing.
P. S, shout out to Vandhar for the mod, and Gmoney Mozart and Penguin Overlord for the streams and video content.
I hope Ubiflop adds these changes from the mod into a new update. Pragmatically, it should not be much work for them to make some adjustments.
I came across this cool video though:
@wfl-ggn I really enjoyed your video buddy and there's nothing wrong with your sentiment regarding the legal ramifications.
The one thing I am quite astonished however is that the mod creator, seeming from many peoples feedback, fixed to some extent some of the issues in the gameplay that many of the community have been complaining about. The result of that has been absolute silence from a lot of these YouTubers, Delta guys and some here in the forums. I really don't understand it. Its things like this that make us console players eager to get on PC.
If people genuinely want to see this game change for the good, getting behind this great work is a form of protesting to make Ubiflop make the necessary changes possible. Whether that be making YouTube videos discussing it or playing the mod and speaking about it.
Shout out to Virtual Chris, Vandhar (hope I got your name right), Gmoney and all the others thats creating a buzz around this mod. If more people keep this buzz up that might push Ubiflop to make the necessary changes to the game. And for a console player like myself for the time being, having this in the form of an official update is very ideal.
By the way, if people have been making the loudest noise about all the issues in this game but are worried about Ubiflops terms and conditions and all the legalities, I just can't take that seriously at all. That's weak. That's really weak.
Anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying this mod.
Salute

@fcac-no-moe With these points said, I was dropping in Bullet Catchers podcast last night on the discord last night and it's been rumoured that Socom 5 has had 5 years in development.
I know Socom has been rumoured to be in development, but if the game really is in development, I only expect the best squad based tactical shooter with Sonys name on it.
Personally, if it doesn't come on PC I would consider buying a PS5 for it.
But my point is that it's good to see that there are squad based tactical shooters being released or rumoured to be released the same time as Ghost Recon Over. Examples such as Socom 5, Arma Reforger, Arma 4, Caliber has improved a lot, Safeguard is turning a few heads, Zero Six behind enemy lines has been extremely quiet but interested to see where it is now.

Dear Ubiflop and fellow Ghosts,
I wanted to share this video on a comparison between Metal Gear Solid 5 Vs Breakpoint AI. Metal Gear Solid 5 is one of my favourite games of all time and that's because you won't find AI like it in any other open world tactical third person shooter.
I'd like to say to my fellow Ghosts that yes, hardware limitations is no excuse for terrible AI. If you have played Metal Gear Solid 5 then you would understand anyone's frustrations with Breakpoint and even Wildlands' AI. They're both not admirable for the open world third person tactical shooter that we need.
@fcac-no-moe If Ubiflop were smart, they would hire him. CDPR did that with Cyberpunk modders and Bethesda help modders with their modding career.
Hey everyone,
I found this new mod for Wildlands and thought a few of you would like to see it.
@hugo-fou Better yet, allow us to mod the game, give us a map editor and mission creator. Give us a hub where we can share maps and missions.
There's a reason why Arma 3 is the king of tactical simulators/games because of things like this.
@megalodon-26 There are games like Demon Souls and Elden Ring that work fine on console and are for a hardcore audience. Importing from PC has nothing to do with it. Ubiflop just thinks it's a bad idea to make Tom Clancy games to suit a hardcore audience.
The realism mod is a great example. A few tweeks on the game settings, and the game has improved a lot from what I've heard.
Personally, I played Operation Flashpoint on Xbox which was more challenging and enjoyable in terms of gun fights than Future Soldier, Wildlands, or Breakpoint.
@fcac-no-moe On top of what you said, the new Ghost Recon game is set to be released in the next year or so, and I've yet to hear anyone from Delta company who was involved in the production of the game. Everyone in Delta company seemed surprised that there was a new game being produced.
This tells us that they are actively not wanting to listen to feedback on what they have built so far. And I doubt they've taken community feedback seriously.
@ai-bluefox I agree bud.
But unless Ubiflop is willing to have a better concept for community engagement, game leaks is the only form of hope I have for this game. At least then we can communicate our feedback before it's release.
But the way I see it, no disrespect to our former Delta team, but we should want Ubiflop to have a company of Military veterans to guide the game.
Bohemia Interactive do that for Arma and they play a critical part of the game.
Delta did their best for the franchise, I can understand that. It was the naive sentiment at times that really got under my skin. Ubiflop will do whatever they want to do. Now you guys can keep your dignity and not be used by these degenerates.
With that said, how timely is it that the next game is probably 45% in development and they cut you guys out? Speaks for itself.
There are so many good tactical games on the market, one of my favourites as of late being Arma 3. If Ghost Recon Over is a flop then it won't be the end of the world.
Ubiflop isn't going to give us the Ghost Recon game we expect and this is a massive signal that they are not.
@sandilands85 I didn't read the documents thoroughly, but it's lore like this that brings our the military geek in all of us.
If we could mod the game, at least you could insert the lore and characters into missions.
I'm sure Ubiflop is about half way done or less with the new Ghost Recon at the moment, so might be too late to add this lore into the main game. Could be for a DLC but they'll have to compensate you somehow.
@en075 hey bud, I'm not an expert at all but a few of these modders are on the gmoney discord, so you're more than welcome to join and get to speak with the modders.
@FcAc-No-Moe , no problem bud, you're in my prayers.
@sandilands85 I honestly think you and Bullet should work with someone to make your own game. You guys have so many great ideas. Uiflop ain't giving the game that we want in this franchise, so it would be a shame to see all your work go to waste.
The next game will be enjoyable. We all will spend hours on it. But it won't be an Arma 3, it won't be a Ground Branch, it won't be a Ghost Recon 1.
@fcac-no-moe In the Milsim space, people play Breakpoint over Wildlands. I think it's because it looks more realistic graphically, it has improved mechanics and animations.
Wildlands has everything else better.
Fcac, why don't you join us on the Gmoney discord? It's a chilled out community, most of us play Arma 3.
@en075 There are some decent mods on Wildlands. One of them that I use is that it removes the sounds when you're detected etc, and the first person mod.
But these group of modders are focused on Breakpoint at the moment.
What's up Ghosts,
We have some new mods that have been created from the community. Here are the vids and links here:
Hey Ghosts,
Wish you're all well.
One of our modders in the GMoney Mozart discord made a great sound mod for GRB ( Authentic War Mod: (https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/13?tab=posts) ) and it inspired me to play around with sound effects in a video.
Here is an update on the mod from the creator himself:
"Hey folks! I'm glad you're enjoying the latest update.
On the next patch you will see some big changes to enemy AI dialogue lines so the battlefield will feel more realistic.
1. Disabled sound dialogues for such behaviors are as follows:
- all talking while patrolling (not in combat state).
- when shout that they've killed someone (that's not a normal behavior for a soldier).
- you won't hear them shout when taking cover and moved somewhere (in combat guns and explosions are loud so you would be very lucky If you would hear or understand enemy's talk from a few feet). That will also help to flank you as a player more so if some player liked lone wolf gameplay experience before this might not suit your playstyle anymore.
- talking after losing player's line of sight.
2. Sound dialogues that will not be disabled are when enemy AI:
- shout while avoiding frag grenades / flashbangs.
- shout when they throwing frags, bangs, shoot rockets?
- is affected by a flashbang (but you won't hear them talking and screaming, I will re-edit so you will just hear them screaming from a pain).
- shout when they pointed that someone from their team is KIA, for example "Echo 1 is down!".
- investigate something in a suspicious state.
All sounds that are not disabled will go into extensive re-edit where those voice lines will feel more authentic / realistic and appropriate to the situation, both before (investigate state) and during firefights.
After Enemy AI update I will upload another patch with revamped weapon sounds for HK 416 variants."
My point is I think GRB needs a massive sound effect and music revamp for the next game.
GRW had a lot going on in the world and that's why it didn't feel lifeless. I'm not a big fan of the music, but each to their own. GRB could have had more military and combat sounds to make it more gritty, realistic and raw.
In the next game I hope to see:
Anyways here is my video and I hope Ubiflop the mod and video can inspire the next game. Personally, I don't play the game now without gritty music in the background and it is much more fun.
@steven527 It would be the ultimate mod if we can have someone from the community figure out how to modify the map.
Like Arma 3, if Ubiflop allowed Breakpoint to have full modding support, it would be the top 5 tactical shooters on the market, giving players all the options they need.
I'm still having a great time playing loud on the Spartan Realism and Authentic Warfare mod, where this no Hud or in game assistance apart from team AI. I know there are others loving these mods too.
However, if Ubiflop takes our suggestions seriously, they will create an incredible third person tactical shooter on release date that will have a lot of tactical players turning their heads.
