@ubi-karl This is so ridiculous. It's been almost 3 months at this point. How are you guys not fixing this?
At what point do we get refunds for the broken games you sold us? These games are still being marketed as having functional multiplayer.
@ubi-milky "some time to fix"?
It's been over 4 months now. A third of a year.
You guys are not working on the issue. That's a lie. It doesn't take 4 months to fix a server issue. It's clearly an issue that your engineers haven't touched in all this time.
Oh, btw, you guys are running another sale on Unity right now. Remember all those months ago when I complained about you guys discounting a broken game and tricking people into buying it? You're still doing that.
What an evil company. There has to be someone interested in setting up a class action lawsuit over something like this. It can't be legal to sell a broken product and then not offer refunds.
You need to fix this.
@ubisushivamp Hey, any updates? It's been 2 and a half months since anyone has been able to play multiplayer, and you guys still haven't even acknowledged the issue outside of this thread.
You guys just ran another sale for this game recently, so you're actively marketing it while it's broken. Please fix this. My friends and I bought it specifically to play co-op.
@ubi-thrupney Hey, if you look back at my previous posts (over the past 5 months) in this thread, you'll see me mentioning multiple times how scummy it is to continue to run discounts on this game when it's currently broken.
Well guess what? Assassin's Creed Unity is currently 80% off on Xbox!
As a part of a CO-OP GAME SALE.
You should be ashamed of yourselves. What a garbage company, lol.
I started a massive Assassin's Creed series playthrough at the beginning of this year. I bought all of your games, and played through them all. Until I got to Unity. I've been waiting for ***months*** to finish this game. And all you guys have to say is that you're still looking into it?
At this point, I don't care. I'm just going to uninstall and not bother anymore. I've definitely learned my lesson though, don't buy any game from Ubisoft, period.
It might be completely broken, and you might get told you're not eligible for a refund because you already started the game up.
Obviously it won't matter to Ubisoft, but I think I'll be saving myself a lot of trouble going forward if I just start viewing the Ubisoft logo as a strict instruction to stay away.
What a massively disappointing way to end my time with this series.
@ubi-borealis "You can request a refund for a digital order within 14 days of your purchase, as long as the content has not been launched."
So none of us are eligible for a refund because we've all had to launch the game in order to discover this issue.
It's been over 3 months now btw. And you guys are running a new sale on the game even though it's ***still broken***.
Why would anyone ever feel safe buying a Ubisoft product? This is an insane lack of response.
@ubi-karl "longer than initially anticipated"
It's been an entire quarter, lol.
@fyreinsyde Nope. 4 months of "working on it".
They've run sales on the game 2 or 3 times since it's been broken.
@ubi-theberry This feels like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
False advertising a game that has been broken for months. This thread is proof that Ubisoft is aware of the issue, and yet continues to sell the game (and actively discount and market it) while they know it's broken.
And then denying refunds to anyone who started up the game, even though it's impossible to know that the game is broken before you do that. Ubisoft is knowingly stealing money from their customers in exchange for faulty goods.
There's no way this is legal.
@ubi-gizmo Just want to point out that as of today you guys are running another sale on AC Unity on Xbox.
Even though the multiplayer has been broken for over 3 months now, and apparently your team has been unsuccessfully trying to fix it (which I don't believe by the way, it couldn't possibly take this long to fix the problem if you were actually working on it), you guys are still marketing this game as having functional multiplayer. And you're tricking people into buying it.
That's something to be embarrassed by. What a scummy company.
