Why do you ask for content that you know that wont provide the necessary information for Application Crash troubleshooting? MSInfo and DXDiag only provide system and hardware information. This content is only valid to measure if the PC can run the game or not, nothing else. Every time the game crashes, the Uconnect asks for the crash dump report, if that's not enough, why do you ask? We already know that Ubisoft does not solve ANYTHING. The Division 2 DX12 is broken since release, and ALL YOU DO, is keep asking for MSInfo and Dxdiag.
Dont treat us like we're fools. This is an app crash, your game is broken, specially after the last updates. If you don't like to support your broken software after release, sell the titles to a decent company, like Capcom, Sony, Codemasters and many others that do not deliver garbage to their consumers.
The Division 2, AC Valhalla and almost every Ubisoft games would be fixed really faster out of ubisoft hands. Please, sell your titles to companies that know how to work, we beg you.
If you need to collect data, ok, no problem schedule a call with ANY of us here, to troubleshoot the problem together. We are tired of this, Ubisoft fix NOTHING, and treat the situation as if it isn't happening.
There are OCEANS of threads from both Nvidia and AMD users, reporting driver crash.

Do your work, or please, again, we beg you, sell your titles to competent companies. Your games would be a lot better in the hands of capable professionals.
Bugsoft, as always.
As the title suggest, crashes to desktop after this week patch. 400 hours of gameplay without a SINGLE CTD, and now this. Please, do not recommend the same old check drivers and files, please. The game was FINE before the update. FIX IT.
Well, it's almost an year since my first report about this issue.
The Division 2 has the same problem since early 2019. Nothing was done there neither here.

It's time for a collective lawsuit. Ubisoft should stop selling garbage to customers. They sold us a broken software and they just don't care. Forum threads leads to nowhere, we need to make Ubisoft lose money.
What do you think?
@devildoggiee - Same behavior here.

@ryusennin - You're right. Yesterday, I've tested my system all day long and I was able to find why the game is crashing.
The issue is being caused by uplay client in online mode. I've tested many variables and the only thing that fixed the game, no matter what are the other conditions was to use the option "Go Offline" inside the Uplay client menu. After that, Heaven on Earth.
Another one. Google is full of reports about AC Valhalla crashing to Desktop and stopping the GPU driver.

@hoschi-tr Probably not. Ubisoft is not capable enough to fix their own mess.
@longjohn119 - For you, and others guessing if the RES BAR is causing the issues, it is not. Yesterday, after long hours testing, the culpid is the Uplay client. Simple click on the "Go Offline" option inside the client menu and the game will no longer freeze/crash.
Uplay Online + RES BAR OFF = Crash from 5~60 min.
Uplay Online + RES BAR ON = Crash from 5~60 min.
Uplay Offline + RES BAR OFF = No Crashes. 3 hours run without issues.
Uplay Offline + RES BAR ON = No Crashes. 4 hours run without issues.
I've also tried a lot of other things, like disabling background apps, run the game as administrator (useless in my case since UAC is disabled in registry) disabling all kinds of OSD (RTSS, AIDA, CapframeX) and nothing. But after going offline inside Uplay client, voila. Even the smoothness is greater now. The client is probably hooking the game process and this injection is causing the app crash.
Not just the game smoothness was improved, but also the loading times, really, REALLY faster than in Online mode.
In their last patch release, Ubisoft did what they do best, [censored]. Their own client is killing their own game. Not surprised, Ubisoft is the worst game developer out there.
Hope it helps, see yaa!
@mathis-adam I've noticed that later. Some areas are crashing the game, no matter what. This issue was "introduced" within the last patch. Unfortunately, I still didn't figure out what to do to avoid this behavior, but I hardly believe that it is related just to configurations or workarounds we can do ourselves, Ubisoft will probably need to fix their mess inside game's code.
At first I was happy, considering that the Uplay client in offline mode would allow me to play the whole game, but I've reached the "A Fiend in Hell" quest and my game crashes there, no matter what. I've already reinstalled the game but I cant get rid of these crashes.
AC Origins and Odyssey has a Low GPU/High CPU usage problem, Ac Valhalla is broken, The Division 2 crashes in DX12. Ubisoft SHOULD NOT SELL ANYTHING ELSE. They sell broken stuff, period. This company should be out of market.

@adrian-11 - I will do the same.
For those wondering how to perform the update, the requirements and the instructions are here: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/service/: (https://easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/service)
I'll try it now.

@grooners - Same error here, with both of my systems.
I have 2 machines. One with a 3080 and the other with a 6900xt. Both faces the same issue.
5950x + 3080 and 10900k + 6900xt.
Tried Full AMD and Intel + Nvidia, no deal.
@ubi-litten - Hello. I've submitted 10 crash reports to Ubisoft, what were your findings? You need to define an strategy to troubleshoot this. The basic information was already provided, now, you need to investigate the crash report ubi connect asks after the driver crash, and, you need to investigate the driver timeout itself. I'm available to assist you, sharing my computer, streaming, whatever necessary. You need to put your team to work.
@kriegsheer007 - Both. I have 2 machines. One with a 3080 and the other with a 6900xt. Both faces the same issue.
5950x + 3080 and 10900k + 6900xt.

@ubi-mark - Yes. Ubisoft support keep asking the same information (even after you've provided) and give the same generic instructions (sfc /scannow etc)
Opened the case: 15101602, however, the kind of assistance has the lowest possible level. Ubisoft does not want, or can't work into these issues. They need to implement some crash dump and in fact, start checking it. I've provided TONS of these and nothing is done.
Pls, you need to check game information during the crash. Asking DXDiag, MSInfo over and over wont solve anything.
I need further assistance, I need Ubisoft to check their crash dump and give us some information about it. Ubisoft must improve their troubleshooting steps.
