@trolsopol Have the same problem. Tried all of the above. I'm out of ideas and Ubisoft need to release a quick fix asap! Extremely frustrating paying for a game and it won't even start!
@trolsopol Have the exact same problems. Keeping this post alive. This is indeed a different problem than the freezing splash screen. I have also done everything suggested on this forum and by ubi support.
A statement from Ubi recognizing the problem and a quick patch is what we need asap!
So 48 hours after buying the game I still can't event start it. Splash screen appears and "oh no, it crashed"
Tried all solutions on the forum
I have a fresh install of win 10
running a Geforce GTX 1080 Ti on a i7 7820X @ 3,6Ghz, 32GB ram
Oddyssey is running great and all my other games
Do I have to wait for an update, or am I missing something here?
@rookitru Not yet. Ubi has yet to confirm this issue and release a quick patch. We have to wait I'm afraid
Same problem for me bro. Did everything as well.
Follow this thread https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/79172/unable-to-launch-the-game-at-all as we are a lot of people with this problem. Hoping for a fix soon, or at least ubi confirming this is an issue.
@boogie7601 I'm running the 20H2 build. As I'm not part of the Microsoft insider program I don't understand why I'm also having trouble. What build are you using?
I actually got the game working now after trying everything stated on this forum and else where, and the fix is not as frustrating as a clean boot of win 10.
I downloaded the "Windows USB/DVD Download Tool" and choose to reinstall win 10 but KEEP personal files and apps. It took about 20 min to reinstall, and everything was as before after the install with all my apps etc.
And now the game starts !!!!!!!! Hallelujah
I've had this problem since launch. only getting the splash screen, and then a crash notification. Tried every fix suggested on the forum.

A bunch of us still waiting to get past the splash screen. A clean install of windows fixed the problem for most of the users that tried everything else. I am not doing all that job just to play the game. Cyberpunk to the rescue soon
Not working here either after the patch. Come on Ubi !! There are hundreds of users not being able to play the game at all with all system requirements met and a load of trouble shooting skills. We have tried every thing. Please answer us!!

@alessio0212 Good to know that a reinstall of win 10 will get the game working, but there must be a way to find out what's causing it to crash on my updated win 10, than to reinstall the exact same version of win 10
Can we get a shout out from everyone still not getting the game to start? Wondering how many of us there are
Also heard the latest win update did something strange, but It doesn't make sense that Odyssey, Origins, Far Cry 5 etc is working flawlessly on my system
