@metal_greg
Doesn't get much more complex than Destiny 2 yet they seem to handle the bugs. Not my favorite genre, but gotta give them credit for a well run game.
@navigator_ita80 Tried this and so far two full days of gameplay with no problems. Fingers crossed this will get me through untill this thing gets fixed.
Thanks for this.
For me I loose about 2 missions a day to these crashes. I just hope the other player(s) don't think it's me bailing on them.
@tony_the_shark7 Just a thought, have you tried to set Easy Anticheat to just core #1 each time you log in to TD2 "in addition" to running in compatibility mode?
@tony_the_shark7 Really sorry to hear this. Whatever is causing this obviously depends on players different system builds which is why it is extremely important for the developer to put a high priority on sorting this problem out. I have been playing this game with a couple of breaks since beta and never experienced this length of time waiting for action on such a game breaking issue. Very disappointed in Ubisoft/Massive over this.
"Maintenance"
This has been going on with the PC platform for as long as I can remember and been reported over the same period time and time again and I dare say the info they request has been submitted repeatedly. I have just recently returned to this game only to find that it appears that nothing changes. I really wish that Ubisoft would just come out and inform us honestly as to whether they intend doing anything with this game or not. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the OP is on PC.
@resssss_ Sorry to here you are having such problems. The only thing I can suggest is not to install your game in the default directory. If you only have one drive, then install the game in your drive C completely on its own and try that in conjunction with the Easy-Anticheat fix. If you have already done this, then I am at a loss. Bottom line is, Ubisoft needs to step up to the plate on this one and soon.
@echolecter As I said in my post, I am not implying that this problem has anything to do with players rigs, I was saying that the "intensity" of this problem may change according to how we set up our rigs and that letting the devs know how each rig may or may not be reacting to each set up may be of use.
As I also stated, the blame for this problem is with Ubisoft, but if specific setups appear to mitigate the affect of this problem, at least it could help some people during this very long wait for a fix.
It seems to me that everyone (including me) that is experiencing this problem on his or her PC is experiencing it far more frequency than others. I am not trying to imply that this is the fault of any player's rig, that I place right at the feet of Ubisoft/Massive. However, could this problem be exacerbated dependent on where and how this game is installed on each individual PC with this problem. For instance, I am getting hard freezes that forces me to bring up the Task Manager and dump the game, but I am having this problem at the rate of about two or thee times a week. Why are other players getting this rate (or more) of occurrence per day?
My game is not installed in the default location on my PC, It is on a separate drive dedicated to games in it's own folder "Division 2" in addition to running the game on Compatibility Mode and running Easy Anticheat on one core.
Maybe we should share exactly the nature of our installations along with the frequency of crashes? Could this be relevant and help the dev solve this problem, or am I grabbing at straws?
@xcel30 Exactly, not to mention given what is going on with this game or should I say not going on, this is the least of our problems.
@bittexin Yeah, after two days crash free I had a hard freeze and had to three finger salute out of the game. The rest of the day was OK, but I do agree there is no real permanent workaround for this and needs fixing by the developers. As mentioned earlier, not impressed with Ubisoft on this one.
