Hey everyone,
this is my very own list on things that should be changed/implemented into the game. Feel free to add or discuss any point made.
The murdering Airlock is a real problem in my opinion and the rest is just quality of life improvements I would love to see.
For context:
I'm from Eu, Player Level 31 (current max) and have been Maelstrom diamond nearly every week since launch.
Airlock killing people inside after time runs outCurrently everything on the map dies when the round time runs out, even in the Airlock to the next Sub-Zone
This may not sound too bad but getting killed by the Airlock between 8th and 9th Sub-Zone in Maelstrom is very bad.
Instead of killing everything on the map when the timer hits 0:00 the next Airlock should start and only eliminate Players & Archies across the map but not in the new airlock.
Since people like to talk it down with lore or sth. it just doesn't make sense to die in a safezone because the clock said no.
Players platformBeing able to see ingame if a player uses a controller or mouse and keyboard.
Instead of just showing a Ubi-logo at the in-game tab-menu i would like to see the people's platform.
Explaining the game and some mechanics feel tough to me since I don't know what platform people are on, especially when it comes to keybinds for example.
Recharching Abilities vs non-recharching AbiitiesAll Abilities should be recharched even if it takes 2 mins.
Playing Maelstrom most of the time I play mostly operators with recharching abilities because there's no Ability-Boxes on the last 3 Subzones. Adding more boxes might help but I personally prefere a recharching one because I'm more independant and not relying on my teammates sharing them.
Let's use Smoke as an example: 5 Smokes in his pocket and they last for ~10 secs each, means 50sec of utility is brought and needs to be split on 3 Zones.
Compared to Fuze (4 Fuzes in his pocket, 1min to refill one) having only 1 more in Stock but not refilling will make Fuze more valuable if there's no refill-boxes.
-> Giving most Operators (not Doc and Rook) 1 of their gadget every 2 mins unlocked at level 10 would change the meta and make the game more enjoyable
Endless prestiege Levels (tks to 'DontMessWithTemplar' on the r6e discord)
Add infinite prestige Levels without reward but with PRESTIEGE!
Playing 'Kick the anthill' with Templar made me dream of seeing how many xp one made with an Operator. Just imagine Level 69 Fuze with about 10mil Xp.
Global Maelstrom LeaderboardJust a weekly Leaderboard of the highest Maelstrom scores acheived
Wanted this since I saw people post their highscores online. Maybe weekly and all time highest would be nice but only all time is problematic since the difficulty of each run and week differs quite much.
React Laser - no tactical points for killsKilling an Archean with the React Laser (Level 25 React Gadget) gives no additional tactical points.
Getting a kill with the Laser is tough therefore I want a reward for killing an Archean with the Laser.
Note: I'm only talking about Archeans, not Nests or blinding Spores!
EDIT:
More Event ModesAdding more eventmodes (like a specific Operator with specific Weapons only, one per day for a week then returning to the usual rotation)
Also adding the two special Events (Spillover & the other one) to the event rotation/as another sub region
Elite Sludge
Add another Elite you can NOT kill with just a takedown (like Smasher and Apex), the Elite SLUDGE.
Chatting about the early hitbox of the sludges (a bit broken, now very good) we wanted to feel the pain again. Would make a nice mini-boss if you think of it. Also thanks to Templar ❤
