I love Division 1 more than Division 2. So in my opinion, Division 1 should be updated alongside with Division 2, or just independently. Much like how Everquest 1 is updated, even though Everquest 2 exists.
@multicut
In my opinion, the weakest features of the Division 2 are the raids; but only if you don't have friends to play them with, not well equipped, and don't understand - or care enough to understand- how the game mechanics in them work.
Let me give an example:
Occasionally, as a newb/noob/new player, i look for raid groups in discord channels with messages like this:
"Hello. I'm looking for an Iron Horse raid group to join in, because i want to get the Regulus. I only did the raid once and i am a noob, so i will need help and carry. I also have no mic. If you are still interested, please send a direct message to me.",
Or like this: "lfg IH, need sherpa/carry, i have no mic".
And sometimes, i do find raid groups, and finish them with the helps, guidances, and carries of other experienced players; but in my opinion, this is not how i want to do the raids, or any activity at all.
The problem is that i barely have any tolerance to learn the basics, and the bare bones of a game just to be able to play it, but not it's advanced game mechanics through and through - like some players choose to do.
I always think: Why should i even try to learn about the game mechanics of a raid, even though i know that when i get the raid loot, i will not need to know such mechanics anymore?
I mean, after getting my Eagle Bearer and Ravenous, i started to think about whether if i care enough to do the IH raid, just to get the Regulus.
And that is my problem: To me, raids are just hurdles to get through, in order to get that raid loot; and not an activity that i would prefer to do regularly.
Because when i am not trying to get through raids, i am just a casual, solo player, who uses in game matchmaking to get groups and get things done.
The first suggestion is to make the raid(s) doable in a solo format as well. I do not know if such a thing is possible, but i'd rather being able to do the raids by myself, than with anyone else. If i can play and complete all of the pve aspects of the Wildlands by myself, then i would like to have the ability to do them so in Breakpoint as well.
Speaking of Wildlands, my second suggestion is for a hardcore mode, alongside with the exo-skeleton suit rewards (normal and gold versions) from the Wildlands to be implemented into the game. Breakpoint is about surviving and beating the odds against the enemy, but in my opinion, there is no real meaning behind playing the game as hard as possible, other than for the sake of personal preferance. In addition, if the game was to also have the tier mode from Wildlands to be implemented into the game as well, that would be a cherry on top for me.
Ubisoft, if you have read this post, then i would like to thank you in advance. The first "solo raid" suggestion may be a controversial subject to agree on, but i do belive that the second "hardcore mode with the exo-skeleton (normal and gold) rewards and the tier mode" suggestion is necessary for Breakpoint.

In terms of story, anything that is between the beginning of Division 1 and Division 2 is acceptable to me. Other than that, as long as the game gets an update, i'm happy.
I love Division 1 more than 2 for a number of reasons:
The first reason is that you don't need to do raids or incursions to get whatever powerful loot you want, as all items are available to you from the get-go, and you can use these items without any restrictions. You want to get the gear sets and exotics by just doing legendary missions, go right ahead, they are all but one matchmaking queue away from you. No need for a clan, Discord, or even in-game chat.
The second reason is the classified gear sets. Some of these items are designed in such a way that anybody can immediately understand how they work. With Firecrest+Urban MDR, you get the full effect by maxing out the electronics with 6-pieces equipped and nothing else. Sure, you can use weapons that work in-sync with those gear sets, but you don't have to. Same thing goes for Reclaimer+Caduceus. Same thing goes for Predator's Mark and D3-FNC, expect it is the toughness maxed out, instead of electronics. You can also choose to use multiple exotics at the same time. And they both rely on the use of one skill, Firecrest's flame turret (of which auto targeting does not really exist in Division 2 either btw), the support station box for Reclaimer, and the shield for D3-FNC. Also, these classified gear sets have their own outfit pieces to go with the gear set items, and that is a plus for me.
In Division 2 however, not only the items such as Eagle Bearer, Ravenous, and Regulus are locked behind the normal raids, but without using Discord, good luck finding a clan that will actually do them whenever you are available. I hate the idea of socializing and having to use 3rd party programs or websites to get the game to work properly for me. The "the only one who's holding you back is you" statement is infuriating, when things can be changed.
I am grateful for Division 1.
I have written this in one of the posts in Destiny 2. Both games have raids, so my feedback counts for this game as well.
In my opinion, an online multiplayer game should be able to provide all it can to those who would prefer to do things by themselves. The fact that you "need" other players to do things instead of having it as an "optional preferance" shows how badly this game is designed in the first place.
I mean just look at Guild Wars 1. You can complete the whole game by yourself with AI companions, and that game is an mmorpg as well. I don't want to talk about Guild Wars 2, though. It is as if they have taken a backwards route in terms of handling their solo player problems. Instead of adding AI team-mates, they just made the game f2p instead. That's lazy, again in my opinion.
@carlosart1989 I'd like for Division 1 and 2 to get AI teammates as well.

Hello everyone, my name is FBS.
I would like for a PvEvP game mode such as "Gambit" from Destiny 2 to be implemented into this game.
Thank you all for reading my post.

@fbs94 how can you disagree with what I stated about builds?![]()
You may be right about the information that you have given about making builds, and if it was to help then i thank you for your kind thoughts, but i really hate making builds in general. I mean, why wonder about what works, when you could just use whatever you wanted - or whatever option that could be presented to you, in whichever situation you were in?
I don't hate making builds because it is a hard, long process to make one in the first place, but i moreso hate it because i am limited with the item limit of the chest and the carry limit of my character. For someone who could run their imagination in terms of making builds, that is such a problematic status to be in.
Let me give an example: I have nearly all of the exotics, named items, and the items necessary to make 4 builds, and i already am at 150'ish items in total. The limit of the chest is 300. That is not fair, and it is the main reason that made me quit the game in the first place.
Ubisoft, if you can see this, either remove the item carry limit completely so that i can farm for whichever item however much i want, or give me an option to use pre-designed builds with not carry weight limitations".
I just don't want to be limited about this anymore.
@fbs94 Does Destiny do this?
You can't really create any calculation errors - you can just put together stuff that doesn't synergize at all. As someone who is mostly here for the Shooter, and doesn't really care for Looting - that sounds nice, but don't hold your breathe. Though while I hate looting - I do enjoy doing the calculations to min/max builds.
There are some super easy basics, and a bunch of folks around here that are happy to give you easy to copy builds - then you just need to spend 5-10 hours paying attention to your loot until you've put together a build. Just let people know if you prefer guns or skills, and if you have any survivability issues there are a few armor and/or armor based talents that can fix those.
Also, if you're just going to play on Hard, your build doesn't really matter unless you are King Potato.
Neither Destiny, nor any other loot game that i know, use my suggestions. As for the rest of your answer, we can just agree to disagree.
@fbs94 I mean gear sets are kinda like the second one, 4 slots are gear set and the other two can just be an exotic and named item that have consistent behaviour
Like i said in my post, i hate making builds and wondering about whether if the build i made is good enough or not. I just want to unlock and use pre-designed builds so that i don't have to think about calculations and planning.
I mean, why research for a build when you could just unlock and learn how to use them?
At least then i would be able to say wholeheartedly that "i just need to learn how to use the build" instead of wondering about "whether if my build has any calculation errors to it, or if i farmed the wrong items, or if the build maker has made soıme kind of a mistake, or anything else".
In Siege, everything about your operator is laid in front of you, but in Division, making a build is like a puzzle in itself for me. And i hate every part of it. I am okay with farming for loot to "unlock" the build. I am, however, not okay with "getting the ingredients for cooking a recipe, but also knowing the recipe, or whether if the recipe is designed, perfectly in the first place.

@n-o-u-s
I have two suggestions:
1-) A PvEvP mode, such as the Gambit from Destiny 2. I don't want to do pvp, but i desire competition. Unless such a game mode like Gambit is implemented into Division 2, not only will i not buy the expansion pack, but i also will not play the game. I personally don't like raiding or doing pvp as an endgame content, so i need an alternative in the form of a "competitive pve mode".
2-) Preset/predesigned builds: Essentially, i hate making builds, so i would love to use a feature that allows players to use official and pre-designed/preset builds. Also, i would like for these preset/pre-designed builds to not have item carry limitations.
In terms of my second suggestion, it could work like this: the game could have a page of official and pre-designed builds that you can donate your earned corresponding loots into them, and by doing so, you could permanently unlock them and use them as you wish, wihthout ever having to worry about your carry weight limitations. But as a negative, you absolutely can not change anything about those pre-set builds, so what you see is what you get - this is to be a counterbalance to the idea of having build options that won't have weights.
