Yippee!
That is exactly what I was looking for come Xmas time for my proper GR experience.
Man, I just love the Studio and the Company behind it. They sure know how to listen to the community.
Who's berating whom now.
Message to The Ubisoft Team
The Ubisoft Team has shown over and over again they care about their community/players.
Aaaand there is where I had to stop but Welcome to the forums.
I'm sorry but, how does Flatline being kicked down and support for BP being halted reflects or translates in any way, shape or form in them listening to the community? My vote goes more to the Pitches & Fork producing the why Flatline was kicked down and well, if most of you didn't forecast that there was not going to be a Y3 support you have no one else to blame but yourselves. Really!!!
That is NOT called Listening, anywhere in the world that is what is known as Reacting!
Have they said that in any other social media circuit? I ask this because last thing we heard from the CMs here was my banning and the introduction of a Code of Conduct mambo jambo that they don't even police, only when is convenient for them or whomever is behind the tall tale.
The only thing that I believe the jury is still out is on whether it is TRUE that there is another AAA GR in the works and I can't help but wonder, yet again... why hasn't Delta being called on it? or are we going to play the same old song that by the time Delta got involved the game was already 2 years in the making and it would be impossible to change? I guess the Jury's also out on that one.
At any rate, this is what happens when they respect and listen to the community... a big wet nothing.
@dagrommit
Sorry but #1 has ZERO to do with #2 but to each his/her own and your prerogative.
If they don't listen, or have only a selective hearing when feedback has been explained in their own forums (eloquently or otherwise) are you actually telling the community here that they will from one of the most vague or general question in a Survey?
Rhetorical Q, no need to answer it.
Just wanted to drop my two cents here. I'm a fan of military game, so I decided to give Breakpoint a shot.
Today I have maybe 30 mins to play a little, but what am I doing? Starting a thread to let Ubisoft know I will never buy another game from you guys. I used to like them, I gave this one a chance. Turns out I can't play the game I paid for offline? Between the woke bs, the ridiculous monetization and this, I really, really from the bottom of my heart hope you guys go bankrupt. I wish this on you and any other company that uses these consumer unfriendly tactics. I do not know what you guys are thinking, but this is not smart. I will never buy another one of your games.
I just got 3 copies for me to play with my friends. I regret very few purchases, but this one is close to the top. Enjoy the last you'll see of me ..I.
You know, as much as I despise Ubisoft and the gimmicky ways of doing business, this one is on you my friend. Jotted down to your own fault, take it on the chin and learn to be a smarter consumer... it will go a long way and it will serve you well into the future.
With today's information at your fingertips, it would have taken you less than 5 minutes (from the 30 minutes you had) to find out that the game was AN ALWAYS ONLINE GAME!
I know, I know, it shouldn't be but because of the lack of spine and nutsack in society now a days, caring more about what the Kardashians are doing and which part of their anatomy they are showing and not caring about what Laws that will hurt us the Govt is pushing out, we have people like UBI and plenty of other Companies running a mock.
I am sure that next time, you will be more careful, take your time to read about what you are buying and if it is a chinese item, most of them are, at least buy it from the Company that has some sort of quality control instead that from the Chinese Company directly because they have none. In your case, UBI is the direct Chinese Co so you are right that we must stay away from them until they decide to comeback to Paris, grow a pair and make games and not just gimmicks.
Something tells me Putin wasn't putting (no pun intended) a lot of thought with some or most of the issues that were going to arise by Russia Invading Ukraine. FIFA (World Cup) or Ubisoft with the Motherland DLC being some of them.
Sad truth is, most Russians don't want this but I'm sure they will get chastised and seen as the bad guys either way.
If only we had someone in the white house with strong presence, someone that may have been able to stop this before it escalated to where it has gone now. Now all we can hope is that NATO steps in w/o turning it into WW3.
@IMTUTT I understand but this was the advertisement that they was marketing before the game release was it not? If it wasn't going to be the game in that matter why market the game like its realism and keeping us on our toes. This Is what they told us. When we play the game all of sudden it's not what they were saying the game is about. They slowly trying to get it to where it is for the game we want. Wildlands just needed some grooming and some things added to Wildlands that is on breakpoint. They fooled many of us. It'd a reason why they trying to make it into our liking but it's just not there yet. They make motherlands which is great but it knocks you back when you fully beat it. Because now there's hardly any Russians to fight. I play motherlands to fight Russians not to see rebels more then the bad guys. Keep the same amount or add more bad guys. Example like fallen ghost DLC. you beat the game but they still have the same attitude of aggression and etc. Even after you beat it.
Again, and unfortunately for you and many of us, the Company invests Millions on dollars in making sure they can lie, cheat and steal money from the consumer by making video trailers that bare nothing similar to the game but the characters if that , we can not call it illegal (even if that is exactly what it is) because they pay Millions (again) to law makers to pass laws that make sure they are allowed to do so while coloring a bit outside the line.
They have ceased to be a Gaming Company and all they are now is a shell of what they were before, they motto is to work the least while making sure it is presentable enough to be able to charge full price and until the consumer does not realize that and stop pre-ordering and even ordering when it launches, they will continue to rob you and other of your hard earned money.
Being said that, if one is a gamer from a few years, and with all the info outthere, one can't really blame them if you fall into their trap, not that much anyways... we need to learn to do our homework before we purchase, any game from Ubisoft or any other company for that matter
@mars388502
Seriously and honestly, how many an eloquent post have we seen here and let alone in the old forum (which it will be the excuse as to the why they need our feedback now, bookmark this post) on how the next game should be?
The same simple reason we are at each other's throats right now is because we are just talking to ourselves and there is not even an echo to speak off.
Without a two way dialogue like Blue eloquently wrote, and not from Him or any other CM here (no insult whatsoever) but from someone in the Studio that can come here and man up about it, we will continue to just have a place to bicker about it and make things even harder for them to see what we want but in the end, and as always, it will be their fault.
I also have a funny feeling that this is what they want so they can have the excuse that the feedback is not clear or hard to get to.
Based on what we have seen so far and more so by the fact that they have been arrogant and even insulting the community about it by what they said, I do see the NFTs as defining the future of the game and even worse than what they tried to do with BP.
That the game would be bad and even worse with the inclusion of NFT is also almost palpable because they have yet to show the community anything about it and or include them in the path they want to take and well, that is never a good sign... saying that the ship can be swerved afterwards will not be accepted and too late to cry over how much potential it has.
@steven527
Don't judge them too harshly, year 3 content may still turn this around.
Oh wait!!!
Nevermind!
Yes, Mars, you are better off ceasing and desisting as that brings a better outcome always, and UBI's history is full of proof of it.
Kinda like they proved that it was up to them and their initiative and creative freedom to bring the Immersive Experience and Teammates for the 20th Anniversary Promo... and nothing, absolutely nothing to do with the Shellacking they received at E3, Beta, Launch, and afterwards.
The statement and precedent you are making is the fact that they DON'T interact with the community despise their lies that they do, would and were going to.
@mikeweeks
My bitdefender AV destroyed the hell out of the Mod!
Even after I had added it to the exception list!
I'm going to have to download it again.
But thanks for the Head's Up Mike.
I wouldn't change anything, personally, I wouldn't know what else to add. Well, I would but since we are trying to catch flies with honey and not vinegar, I'll step outside.
This forum is definitely NOT for a Better Player Experience, just another Ubi skim /scam to get some data out of people... no wonder they are going down the drain.
@Kean_1
I'm not sure if I really see Reforger as a threat to Ghost Recon. It's still a relatively limited game and with no actual "campaign" or single player mode so to speak, it's missing a really big key element that some like @FcAc-No-Moe probably wouldn't want to do without.
Yes, there is the editor which will allow people to create their own scenarios and I'm sure there are those that will in time create some solo/coop experiences for the community, but that has a limited or perhaps no appeal to those who just want to jump into an established story / campaign.
You hit the nail in the head right there Kean. As much as I enjoyed playing Co-Op with a couple of guys here, our schedule is not one where I would say we play even daily so not having a Campaign, for me, means No play time and no play time = throwing my money away.
It is sad that most Companies are going this way now and I hope someone listens, makes a killing mature Military Squad shooter with a Killer Campaign, PvE & PvP and makes Billions of dollars. I really do, just like I know that Company won't be Ubigreed!
@Steven527 it is a precedent that they desperately need.![]()
But of course not, not at all ... them not being here clearly is to create a better player experience.!!!
@fcac-no-moe Clearly you just don't understand NFTs.
(lol)
Clearly I don't ... for sure!
I am going to go out on limb and say that even half of those claiming they do, they don't but as lemmings and FOMOS they have to claim otherwise. Of course I am kidding!
I am also going to say that those that do know what they are, well... is Money laundering considered something similar to skimming, scamming or a Pyramid scheme? Ditto on the kidding
Personally it would be a bit of a downer but I am still able to enjoy firing an M16 with some attachments.
What I can no longer enjoy is WWII shooters, at least not fully. Those I do believe I have done to death and then, something like Battlefield where the Scopes don't quite go with the era is kind of not immersive for me. Don't get me wrong, I will use them but my spidey senses tingle and don't allow me to enjoy it that much.
@mars388502
Preach on brother man ... P R E A C H O N
@Megalodon-26 She was only banned for a week, and it's been lifted. I'm just surprised that the person she had been responding to didn't receive a ban as well, because their post also broke the forums code of conduct.
Funny you'd mention that because there should have been more than 1 getting banned that day!
But again, what the hell do I know how the code of conduct work according to the CMs that only come here to give warnings and bannings like the forum and the game is alive and well and not dead or dying.
