@cromedakari I still have those three colored "mastery slots," but the more skill points I've gotten, the more I've started to dump into them. Then wondered if I was wasting them because I never saw any other benefit. Now there are three white icons on the far corners of the skill tree, coming out of the white "Fate" icon in the middle,, but I can't activate those. I don't know what I need to do because all the points I get don't activate them. So I'm just hanging onto them, hoping that at some point with the DLC stuff, they might have new skills I can use the for.
@femmenikita91 Thanks, everyone! I found out where the bandit camp was and was able to finish the quest!
@dunkalars No need to apologize. Thanks for the vid. That should help me figure out where the bandit camp is, at least. Killing all the baddies again won't be a problem.:)
@rankinsect I have to figure out where that bandit camp is now. LOL. I thought the same thing, so I went to the quest marker, thinking that's what it was pointing to. Eh, not so much. But I'll try wandering to the east of the settlement a ways to see if more bad guys and a mini fort show up.
Thanks for your help!
My problem's slightly different. After 400, the mastery icons showed up, one for each tree (Bear, Wolf, Raven), but after putting a skill point into each, there's noting else to do besides keep dumping points into those three. I don't see where doing that increases mastery or skills, so I'm not sure whether to keep dumping points into those or hang onto them in the hopes that the DLCs or future content may have more skills. The patch notes from the December update mentioned "vastly increasing the number of skill points," but I haven't seen how. *smh*
Hello. If I had read stuff before trying this quest, I would have known that I had to carry the barrel all the way back, but I didn't. So after killing all the bad guys and finding the barrel, I started to bring it back to where Ake had gone. Then the quest marker said that would be over 3000 meters, so I thought that wasn't right. So I called the mount, but I couldn't put the barrel on his back. So then I tried to fast travel. I know now that was dumb, because the barrel didn't follow me. But now the quest marker is somewhere in the middle of the next continent...and "middle" by being somewhere within the landmass with no tunnels or caves or anything.
Is there a way I can "reset" this quest so I can start over?
