Oh man, I was looking forward to mods that tweaked the exchange value for docklands trading. I find it sad that we can't mod them...
@sirharrypierce the poster did mention the scroll bar, he knows of it. But the scroll bar isnt the ideal solution, and the devs agree with that according to their own devblog about High Life.
@pillepallemayer The high Life only comes into play when you reach 5000 investor, which takes a while.

@poplicola i too have those feelings. Would love some more variation on world generation. But that does not seem to be high on the priority list of the developers. No game update included a new set of islands since release.
They set themselves a very high standard for islands quality, I believe its pretty costly in their view.
Even the arctic reuses a lot of old world islands.
So I have no hopes, i just wish they added to the pool of possibilities the mirrored version of the islands, i think its a very low cost way to spice things up.
hi guys i'm new to the game.. i'm stuck at the early quest of sustaining 70% schnapps supply for 1 minute..
i have 7 potato farms and 3 distilleries, i'm full of potato and schnapps but the quest stays at 0% all the time
how am i supposed to finish this quest?
The 70% is refering to the satisfaction of farmer/workers that consume said schnapps. When you click on a farmers residence and then select the happiness tab, where the luxury needs are displayed, do you see the schnapps satisfaction bar fully green? Try clicking on it once to prohibit the consumption and then again to allow it, maybe this will trigger the quest timer to start.
But its weird, this quest ismt supposed to have any real challenges, if you have a surplus production, it should have been done already.
By the way, a distillery only needs a simgle potato farm to be supplied. You have like 4 unnecessary (wasteful) potato farms.

@upana it is intentional by the devs. The new factories are classified as "multifactory" as you can read under "Chemical Plant: Souveniers"
The items that affect "all production buildings" do not see multifactories.
I think there are mods that change this...

Pretty sure it's an oversight that will be fixed. Dont know how that sliped through testing, though..

@s7w-6vb6-t4tb-8 they removed it from spice it up because the most recent patch added a 0.5 speed to the base game.
I don't think they should have removed it though, as it was much slower than 0.5 speed, I think it might have been 0.1
can't you keep using the older spice it up version slow mod?

You will have to turn to mods if you want to see investors eating normal food
@pitair1 sadly, all those things are either reeeeally hard or impossible to mod into the game as far as I know. UI stuff.
