Now that you say that, I agree. That thought had not crossed my mind before. Now that you introduced me to that thought, I feel as though they probably have quests written for Raventhrope, and they will add them at a later time to keep players engaged. The only idea I have to support that theory, is that they are going to add the yule festival in the season one free dlc. That makes me think there is the possibility they might add more Raventhrope content.

I personally prefer the way weapons and gear works in this game as opposed to odyssey. In odyssey it was just randomly generated and I would spend hours trying to get a weapon with that stats that I wanted. Here I do prefer how one piece of armor or weapon can take you through the whole game if you can upgrade it. I also prefer how the stats/runes work in this game. Sure now I am just farming for runes, but I have majority of the runes I want, plus since they technically do not give that much of an increase I do not feel the need to try to farm these runes. I know I am probably in the minority here, but I do like how the weapons and armor feel more unique, as opposed to hundred's of hundred's randomly generated gear.

It is bugged, or rather he just is not always found there, there is the option to track the order members which is what I had to do, I found him several hundred meters to the west, if you keep using odin's sight while traveling west on the nearest road you can find, you might be able to find him, sorry if this does not work for you, this was how I found him however.
I agree with rankinsect, all content would have to be able to be completed solo/co-op. I did not enjoy in Unity that you could technically do anything solo, but It was extremely difficult to complete some of those co-op missions solo. However I think for Valhalla co-op is too late. Unless they somehow made castles re-playable, or somehow were able to really put pressure on stealth, I just don't see how Valhalla would benefit from co-op when it's already so easy solo.
Now if they wanted to add pvp like brotherhood-black flag, I personally would enjoy it a bit, but I think they would have to add alot to the pvp mode, not a copy and paste from black flag. Although it has been so long since I played those, that I don't really have an opinion on what to add/change cause I don't remember.
Bottom line though, I think they have enough stuff to fix/add before they should worry about multiplayer in any form.
I also have this problem. For myself it started when the yule festival started. I'm curious as to when you started noticing this. I have found a "work around", I just keep firing my bow, using melee attacks, and cycling through the hints. I usually have to do all three then it loads pretty quickly. I'm hoping this gets resolved when yule festival is over. Also, what are you gaming on? If your gaming on a pc I am curious about your specs. I am running an Evga 1080ti ftw3, with an I7-7820x, 16gb ram dual channel ram.
Exactly as the title reads, is anyone else having significantly longer load times since the yule festival arrived. My load time it seems has nearly doubled if not more than doubled. I am fairly certain this problem did not start for me on tuesday when the update came out, but rather thursday when the actual festival arrived.
Is this gear going to be specific to the save game, or the uplay account. I was considering starting a new game, with that in mind I was curious if I should just wait to do the Yule festival activities, or if they would be saved throughout saves. I hope my question makes sense. Does anyone know for certain?
The content for the Season Pass has not come out yet with the exception of the Beowulf mission. The Wrath of the Druids is the first major expansion and is set to be released in March.

With the Davenport homestead, I feel like they did not do a great job explaining the mechanics. It took me awhile on my first playthrough to understand the benefits of upgrading the homestead. The missions could be fun at times. Though I did not like the biggest reward was being able to craft something that would allow me to craft something better (unless I am forgetting something). It was fun in its own way, but way to tedious to want to do on a second playthrough.

Davenport homestead is from Assassin's Creed 3, so you didn't miss anything.
I think each have their perks. I agree that their was more to do in Davenport, but from what I remember (although its been about year since I played that game so I might not be remembering correctly) that wasn't that much more to do. You had the mini game with Godfrey and Terry, there were animals to hunt. There were also the homestead missions, but I did not like how you had to progress through the story to unlock those missions. It made sense why it worked like that, but I prefer Raventhorpe in the sense that you can do a bulk of the upgrading without having to play through the story. I know to get to level 6 you have to play through the story, but I believe you can still get to level 5 by doing a majority of the raids. I also feel like you benefit more from upgrading Raventhrope than you did Davenport, with the feast buff in mind. When you upgraded Davenport I felt like the biggest perk (if my memory serves correct) was you were able to craft/buy special items in order to craft upgrade pouches. I did not like that you would have to go through a fair amount of the story to max your character out. I feel like with Valhalla you can upgrade your character alot without needing to play through the story.
So to give a black and white answer, I think Davenport was better in the sense that it felt more like a home/community, but Raventhorpe is better in the sense that by upgrading it provides more of a benefit to the gameplay than Davenport did.
