

Hi guys,
one of the Ubi moderators recommended to create a dedicated post about this issue that I encounter since last game update.
The problem is the new introduced "Weekly Challenges" does not update or show any progress.
I also noticed the "Statistics" screen is not updating properly. Counting for both Ubisoft Connect Website and the ingame overlay. After some tests I can confirm that things like playtime, kills overall, dice games, and hired vikings does not count for me anymore. I took some screenshots for better understanding.

I can provide further screenshots, with shield kills and dice game victories, but I don´t know how helpful this will be.

@yazx_ Please can you check if your statistics updates properly? Because I have the bad feeling the stats page does not update during or after playing the game
@fireseed i think you are right. I checked it through AC Syndicate. I was at 99% total sync, played the game, reached 100% but the statistics in ubisoft connect still show 99%. So i guess something similar could be happening in Valhalla.
@dim344 Thanks for double check on that. Watch Dogs Legion seems also affected... Let´s hope Ubisoft will find the snag soon and assassinate him

I tried it again after the weekly reset on PC and the issue is still there.
Verify files, start with a new save game, disable/enable cloud sync to force Ubi Connect to overwrite my cloud savegame and reinstall the game does not help.
@Ubi-Woofer Please let me know if there is anything left you need for further investigation. I´m not sure if I missed something, because I can´t find a related note in Reported Issue Megathread

we are on the same boat and the devs are aware of it. Right now they investigate "Multiple issues with Ubisoft Connect challenges not being properly tracked and stats not displaying the correct information"

I checked the state again today. And the issue is still existing for me. I had also set up a five pieces full body tattoo, have not done this before, no achievement came up and all statistics are still frozen.
Yes, seems some games are still affected. For me Challenges does not load or take very long to update and redeem. Mostly after opening the overlay, I also recognize a unusual high CPU load while playing Fenyx Immortals Rising and WD Legion from the Connect client itself, leads to endless loop of load/saving icons while playing with very low frame rates. Really strange ...

No need to say that the amount of "XP (200)" and "Opals (40)" shown above is false. Because all challenges shown as twice, resulting in a wrong calculation.

Sadly, me experienced the exact same issue across all current games and on multiple platforms include the mobile App, Ubisoft Connect Website, Ingame Overlay and in the client itself. And exact at the same time as mr-t-magnum mentioned. Maybe because we are both Ubisoft + Subscribers? And I fully understand Ubi-Viral approach, I created a support ticket some days ago, but Ubi please keep also in mind the problem is maybe your side or at least anything in the latest client update goes wrong. I will pointing out at things like "Support Overlay for DirectX 9 " as a recent client change...
As written in the past I still have a very high CPU load while playing when the "ingame overlay" is set as activated. So when I opening the overlay for the first time during gameplay I recognize a unsual high CPU load, and all kinds of errors posted before, include a permanent save icon in the corner . Don´t get me wrong, I`m not an developer or programmer, but a core "Uplay user" since 2012 and I really have the feeling something goes very wrong with the latest update.

Main Menu of Immortals Fenyx Rising after opening the overlay for the first time, I got:
Only 26(!) Frames in Menu, 10% CPU for the Game and more than 50% CPU load for the client process. This can´t be right...

@eguy_4 After compare my playtime ingame with the statistics from the Ubisoft Connect client I saw this:
And according to the Ubisoft Connect I got all my achievements on one day, January the 15th, during my first play session after the update 1.1.1.
And I´m more than sure this can´t be case. It´s also the same day where I regocnized a challenge progression issue for the first time - because the new weeklys does not progress

@ubi-woofer Thanks for your reply. The Connect Website shows the same zero progress on weekly challenges.
Stats also not updating after playing, ether on the website or ingame. As you recommended I will create a dedicated thread about this issue.
