@fj708090 Yes I tend to think the same. I have been playing games on various computers since 1985 and in all those years I have only had one game that I couldn't play which I purchased from a shop on CD/DVD which I took back and swapped it for another game. Do people check Windows 10 Event Viewer after a crash to see what caused it? that would give you some idea of whether it is the game or a hardware or software issue on your computer. I think that some people find it easier to blame the software developer for their issues than looking elsewhere. I have had a few CTDs and just restart the game and get over it. I have 40 Hrs of playtime and 62% completed.

@johnkelly1972 I have completed the mission after many restarts. It gets easier the more you play it as you learn more about the mission and what to do. It isn't a game design flaw. If I can complete it at 72 I'm sure you can.

@dannykao83 Nope. I have about 140 odd hours in this game. I finished the main part at 100hrs and now I'm enjoying exploring the islands picking up FND Cache and Libertad Crates. I also went around and picked up all the crypto crates also all the idols which 4 had to be taken back to an island. There are still lots of fighting as now and again the FND recapture a territory that you have to capture it back. I'm still trying to get the FC helicopter to. I'm still enjoying it.

Is this meant to happen? As I'm walking along my screen suddenly turns into a blue fog. When I look behind me there is no blue fog and also when I turn back to the front view the blue fog has gone.

@redjoekido Like most games like this, you have to earn better weapons, so you start out with basic weapons at the beginning.

I'm playing this game as a female for a change. The original poster wants to look at how many females are in the army these days, you just need to see photos of the Chinese Army. I also think the OP needs to get out of his cave and look around.

@mes-187 If you read the instruction that comes up when you open the door to the bunker it says something like that you have to complete this mission in one go as it doesn't save the mission but if you get killed while playing the game does go back to some autosave point so you don't start again. If you get sick of the mission halfway through and quite it next time you play the mission you have to start again from that FND base. What I did was do an airdrop from a base on the other side and you can almost get to the bunker door by using the wingsuit and parachute. I hope that what I have typed is what you mean.

I know I am with 34hrs played and 49% complete. I'm playing as the female Dani. One of my associates has killed the Presidents wife and things have got tougher with him deploying more troops. I just did a scenario where Dani got poisoned and everything got blurry and I was expecting to get one of those segments where you had to fight your way out but instead you woke up and had to drive to a doctor to get the poison removed. I still get the occasional CTD which is no different to any other FC game that I have played except the early versions which I have on CD/DVD.

@guydodge So why don't we see thousands of posts on here about this issue because thousands of people are having no issues with this game myself included. I did have problems at first running a GTX 1060 6 GB card which I had to underclock to run the game but since changing to an RTX 3050 8 GB card (the most I could afford) I have no issues running at 1920x1080p as that is the native resolution of my monitor. On all games, developers are not going to get a 100% success rate for people running games as there are millions of different computer configurations out there. I do find some of your comments a bit harsh on Ubisoft.

I took an FND checkpoint and got killed in the process and when I respawned everyone was shooting at me the FND and the guerillas this only lasted 15 or 30 seconds until I shot one of the guerillas until they realised we were all on the same side.

@la_clavicula You have very little ammo at the beginning of the vanishing something like 4 rounds which you have to use wisely. The first Russian you see it is best to kill them with the machete and possibly some of the other Russians. Yes, you do get the message that your ammo is full which I think is for another weapon that you have not got yet. As you advance you do pick up more pistol ammo some from dead Russians that you have killed and some that are lying around. You just have to look for it. As you progress through the Vanishing you do pick up better weapons like a shotgun etc. As I said at the top try and save your ammo and kill with the machete. The vanishing does do saves while you are playing it so if you get killed you do restart at a certain point depending on how far through you have got remember though if you quit the game before finishing as explained at the beginning when you open the door to the bunker you have to start the vanishing all over again from the beginning. I finished this over a month ago.
