As much as I like perma-death as an artistic choice, it has now reached ridiculous levels. Ljufvina showed up dead in Honor's Hubris, and that sent me on a 20 hour plus game repeat. But never mind. Now my ship crew is showing up dead!
I mean, every other day there is one less living soul to wield those oars, and a suspiciously growing heap of corpses on my dock in Raventhorpe. Should I be worried? Is there a serial killer side quest I have totally missed out on? Is it Sigurd? Will Gillian Anderson investigate? What's their motive?
It gets creepier.
There is a World Event in Essexe (Mother). I murdered the murder floofs (wolves), but alas, the person in the hut is also dead. Cause of death unknown. The reeves are investigating, but refuse to give statements to the press. I can reload the location until I am blue in the face, the wolves respawn all lively and still angry. The corpse in the hut? Still a corpse in a hut.

Methinks there is a perma-death pattern here, Mulder. I mean, Ubisoft.
