Same for me, but perhaps a more detailed description of my situation is in order. So the first time I entered the Old Cellar, I broke all barrel plugs and cargo lifting blocks, and the ale flowed, but I didn't see the tablet, either under or on top of the floor grate. To be clear, I didn't see it because I just plain missed it - after breaking the last barrel plug/cargo lifting block at the end of the room, I just went up the exit ramp, not even knowing the tablet was in that room (on that first run-through, I thought the cave went on after the foliage-covered ramp). At the top of the ramp, I decided to go back down the ramp to look around a bit more (now knowing that the ramp ended the cave), and saw the tablet glowing, but still under the grate/uninteractable (my problem is that the tablet doesn't raise, not that I cannot pick up the tablet after raising).

I then looked online and saw the various posted issues, and waited for the fix.

Unfortunately, the update released today (1/14/2021) says that it fixes this issue, but it did not fix it for me. No matter how many times I sleep, fast travel, and/or load/restart the game, when I go back to the Old Cellar, only the cargo lifting blocks have been reset; none of the barrel plugs have been reset, and as such, there's no way to re-break the 10 barrel plugs, flood the room and raise the tablet.

So thinking I'm needing a fix that simply resets ALL breakable objects in the room, making it so that when I go back, it's like the first time through again (and I won't miss the tablet this time!). Until then, no Excalibur for me it seems!

First, absolutely love this game, and have completed nearly all things (including Ireland, Mastery Challenges, etc.). However, I still have the Old Cellar tablet problem. Went in there the first time in December 2020, broke all barrels/hanging bundles, but then stupidly ran up the stairs before collecting the (I assume) raised tablet. When I ran back down the stairs and through the door immediately after that, tablet was there, but still under the grate. I go back to the Old Cellar 1-2 times a week and check, and when I do, the hanging bundles are always reset/able to break again, and all braziers can be lit again, but none of the barrel have been reset, and the tablet just sits there under the grate. After the most recent 7/2021 update all is the same, except now the tablet is not visible under the grate either.

Please find a way to just reset the barrels so they can just be broken again (just like the hanging bundles that reset literally every single time) to raise the tablet, or admit there's been an unsolvable issue for almost a year now, and give everyone the tablet by inventory gift (like when Ubisoft gives everyone a tattoo, shield, etc.). Without this tablet, there's no way to get the Excalibur sword, and since the clipping bug was fixed, also no way to get the Noden's Arc bow.

I just don't understand - when the hanging bundles reset every time I go into the Old Cellar, why don't the barrels just rest as well? I could be missing something here of course, but it seems like a very simple fix here that is directly associated with the only way to fully to finish the game, and the only way to be able to get the last 2 of the only 4 Isu weapons in the game (Thor's hammer, Odin's spear, Excalibur and Noden's Arc bow) . . .

There's gotta be a way to fix this without me having to completely restart the game after 250+ hours in . . .

I cannot complete the Sigrblot War Efforts Quest. There's 3 reasons I think. First, I have beaten the Alwin player twice, but the War Games sub-quest never advances/shows complete, and I never get to any tokens from Alwin for winning. Second, I have won all 3 rounds with the dual daggers, short sword and dual shields, but again, the Test Your Metal sub-quest never advances/shows complete. Third, when I go do river raids now, no matter how many foreign supplies I grab, they never show on my end-raid loot summary, i.e my foreign supplies never go above 1400. The effect of course is that I'm unable to complete the "river raid for foreign supplies" requirement need to fill the last spot on the War Effort quest completion/status bar (thinking that since I've bought/upgraded everything I can with foreign supplies, and there's no place to spend any of the 1400 I have, does it mean I can't now complete the War Efforts quest as well?) So I bought the Season Pass after previously/first buying the game. I got all the Helix points/pet/tattoo upgrades, etc. as expected. Also got and finished the Berserker quest line. However, I have never received the letter from Sunniva that starts the Beowulf quest in Evior's room. Anyone else have this problem?
