I had the same problem, but after moving the installing folder to my windows drive + verifiering files, the game starts after 2-3min in splashing screen - now I can play ! (remember: you have not to reinstall the game, just move it to your windows drive, then start the game over the installed folder (ACValhalla.exe). The verification will be then automaticely - if you start the game after that, just wait a little bit, the game will start then (first start could be a little bit longer to join the game from the splashing screen)

install the game on your main drive (windows installed) - then it works - just move it from one drive to the other if allready installed on another drive. After that verifie your files and it will work -
