@heroofcoffee I agree. I've actually saved before upgrading some of the armor to see how it looks and then reloaded when it ended up looking too much like MMORPG gear.

After talking to Sigurd on the docks and getting in his ship the ship just sits there going nowhere.
One reason this might be is that after the conversation cinematic plays but before getting in the boat, I can see using Raven Vision that two of my allies that I assume should be in the boats get teleported into the ground beneath where I stand after the conversation cinematic, then one of them dies, and the other one stays underground. -

I don't get the zealot fights at all. I just had a couple of tries at Eorforwine, and I don't get when I am supposed to do damage to her.
I can get her yellow bar down for the R attack, and a few hours in here and there, but any time i try to use an opening to hit her it either only allows for one hit or i get punished for trying.
Like her drinking to regain health, she often regains a bit before I get to her to hit her, and when I do hit her she flies out of range, do there is no way to follow up.
Likewise when an opening is made by parrying her strikes i can either only get in one hit, of hitting her results in her hitting back way too fast for me to react.
In Origins and Odyssey i could take out wavering heroes way above my level by trying enough times and playing well enough, but it doesn't feel like that here, really feels like there's something i just don't understand about the game -

The game isn't even "teaching" about gay wolves. As far as I recall there is a single short line where one child suggests that the wolf might have a mate is it's own gender.
Never mind the fact the apparent bigotry of getting hung up on this as immersion breaking among so many wildly unrealistic and unhistoric things.
But that you would take one single throwaway line from a child and present it as the game teaching anyone anything is insane. From your reaction you would think that Eivor himself/herself grabbed the camera out of the air and stared into it saying "wolves are gay, and homophilia is awesome."
Do you always think comments from children are meant to be taken as super serious teaching moments? -

I actually found a workaround for the problem.
Immediately after the cinematic with sigurd and his father ends, I quicksave before one of the two allies underground could die.
When I reloaded that's save everybody were in the boats and now one of the kind guards were underground instead and the ships took off as intended. -

@lysunder absolutely. I spent a while noticing when NPCs would spot me, and often it would be when I was behind them or while they were sleeping.
It's obvious some NPCs just have broken stealth detection because these NPCs who see me when they shouldn't also instantly fill their detection meter. Somehow, detection cone and speed just isn't being applied properly.

@frosthound030 No, i wasn't too bothered my the golden accents on the helmet, so i kept it upgraded. It's not too fast off from my understanding of helmets of the time, though i prefer the ungilded version.
Mostly, though, I have accepted the game's wish to keep the head slot hidden, so it doesn't really matter much me what the helmets look like.
I'm particularly disappointed in the huntsman set, though. I liked the basic look of it except for the helmet, but just upgrading it once made the set look ridiculous, especially the helmet. -

@cuchulain123 I was really disappointed that I didn't get to bring that gear back with me.

@lenkagamine2333 I've tried doing some quick testing myself, and the only thing I know is that those skills affect the weight of both armor and weapons. I have no clue if they affect the other stats, but the skills do apply to both armor and weapons to some degree.

It's obviously blocked off for you to come back later in the game, after progressing the story, which is not new for the series to do.
You'll also notice on the map that the zone is way higher level than you can reach in Norway, so you're not really meant to do any combat in that zone yet.
Assuming you're taking about the northern part of the map -

@kizza0721 I don't understand your comment. I have no issue with the game and am having a good time with it.
I just think you drew the line in a weird place, and was commenting on the logic of drawing the line where you did. -

@kizza0721 so murdering someone is ok if they're in the military? You're not killing the soldiers in self defense you're invading their country and killing them in their own towns. How are they not innocent just because they try to defend themselves?
Seems a little inconsistent.
