My current Windows OS is Windows 10.

I tried to clear the cache and launching the game as administrator to take a screenshot of my "command" menu. After several tries, I am stuck again in the main menu so it is impossible to take it. I do not understand why I can not click on it anymore.

I will try again later. If I manage to go to the "command" menu, I will take a screeshot.

Hi everyone

Since I wrote the post, nothing has changed. I'm still stuck in the main screen. The ticket I had to open on twitter didn't give anything (the same troubleshooting over and over).

I deleted my AC Valhalla.ini, reinstalled my game, reinstalled Ubisoft Connect and my game on my D drive, nothing helped. I'm desperate to the point where I've come to the conclusion that I'll probably never play it.

If anyone finds a solution, please let me know.

I finally managed to get to the "command" menu but again everything froze. I could not click on anything or change the "keyboard and mouse" mode to "Hybrid". My cursor was on the "entry mod" section at the time of the screenshot. As you can see, the section is highlighted (as I said in my first post) but I can not do anything.

I can confirm to you when I launched the game for the very first time, I was not stuck like this. I could move my character and I could click on anything from the menus. After a restart of my PC, nothing worked, I could not click on the menus.

So I did what you asked for. I tried one more time to disconnect all the peripherals and it did not work as espected. I reinstalled the game in an another location of my HDD and after that I tried again to launch the game without any peripherals except my keyboard and my mouse. Nothing changed, my keyboard still does not work and my mouse too. I can only move the cursor but I can not click on anything.

After several tries, I could click on the menu, go to "command" section. After that, same problem, everything was stuck. I noted that I was not on the standard "Hybrid" mod anymore but on "Keyboard & mouse". 

Can this thing could be the problem or not?

I bought Assassin's Creed Valhalla a couple of days. Everything was alright when I checked up if the game works or not. After a restart of my PC, I just cannot play it anymore.

I have the "press key" thing and at this time, it works. But after that, I cannot do anything. I'm just stuck in the menus. My keayboad & my controller do not respond. I just can move my curosr in the menu. When I put my mouse on a menu tab, it is highlighted but impossible to click on it.

I already done all these things:

• Check update driver
  • keyboard
  • mouse
  • Graphic card
  • ...
• Disconnect controller
• Disconnect everything from USB connector except mouse and Keyboard
• Disconnect everything from USB connector except xBox Controller
• Check game files
• Disabled all overlay (Discord, Ubisoft,...)
• Reinstall the game
• Launch the PC in "clean boot" mod
• Launch the game as administrator
• Delete the ACValhalla.ini
• Delete the ACValhalla files in document files

Here is my pc configuration:

• Intel Core i5 7600K
• Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5
• 2x8 GB DDR4 @2400MHz
• Game installed on a HDD
• Motherboard : ASUSTeK PRIME Z270-A

All these things do not work and I feel like I bought a game that I can never play because of these problems
