I play Valhalla on release and it is a mess. The graphics were terrible, the optimization zero, most of the game was a slide show and there was a lot of things that just plain didn't seem to work. The next day or two I play again and the graphics are beautiful and it seems to run quite well with no obvious problems. I have seen no evidence of a major patch being downloaded. How have they done this? Maybe my computer was sleepy on release day and couldn't be bothered working properly, I don't know.
Don't think much of the mini games. The dice one is a bit naff, the drinking one is awful, the flighting one is okay but not very interesting. I hope you don't need to participate in any of these to complete the game. Also some of the mini quests are a bit purvey aren't they?
What's that all about? Does this mean we are not allowed to explore the region until the story allows it, or have they not finished making it yet? It was a spot of wealth in a cave under a waterfall. I climb there only to get this message. 'Area not available' No exploring, this is bad.
