@noskilljones Man, just forget about it. They don't care about this problem. Since April I've been reporting the same issue on PS4 (where is much worse) and they do nothing. The ADM always respond that they are working, but they don't fix anything at all.
In fact, this problem exists since WD1 (any platform). Watch Dogs is the only franchise that has screen tearing problem on my console. It's bizarre.
For some weird reason, Valhalla was experiencing the same issue on Xbox Series, One and PS5 (but not PS4). They fixed it on One, but the problem still exists on other platforms. Yes, believe me, people on Xbox One don't experience this problem anymore, but those on Series X do. I know this because my friends confirmed it (by the way, to be fair, this happened just a few months ago, I don't know if it was fixed r-now).
How is the game running on the PS4 Fat/Slim? I heard about a V-sync (screen tearing) problem on the Xbox, and I don't know if that is also happening on the PS4... Does anyone know anything about it? In fact, I heard that the problem is occurring even on Xbox One X, so I believe it is an MS bug that they will fix until the release, idk. Give me a light here guys, please!
PS: yes, i watched some videos on Youtube, but you can't be sure about refresh rates there.
Thanks @ubi-spacecats
I'm playing on a PS4 Slim so there is no performance or resolution mode. It's standard 1080p, no HDR. And yes, stuttering only happens when autosave pops.
It's actually curious that you didn't notice the same problem on your PS4, because even the base game has minority stutterings every time the autosave pops up. Even more so when I notice that the problem does not appear in other open world games and my console was cleaned not long ago...
@ubi-mark Hello,
Thank you for the attention. I performed all the steps mentioned and reinstalled the game, it didn't work.
The game has minor stutterings and more severe ones, depending on the area. And it happens every time the autosave appears on the screen. I marked on my map the area where I saw the most annoying ones (same place located in my video), so you can check in your console too:
https://ibb.co/gF0PGgp: (https://ibb.co/gF0PGgp) (around the perimeter of the dwarf shelter exit).
I mean, I really think a little performance patch would help a lot. If we at least had the option to turn off autosave it would be good as well.
Severe stuttering issue in Dawn of Ragnarök DLC during autosaves (PS4), pretty annoying for the fluidity of the gameplay. The same thing happens in the base game, but it's much worse in the DLC.

AC Valhalla is performing poorly on PS4. Northern lights textures are blurred /pixelated. Combat, settlement, cutscenes and some cities with absurd FPS drops, especially in Norway. Are any patches scheduled?
Is anyone else experiencing a massive frame rate drop in AC Valhalla (settlements, cities and cutscenes) on PS4 Fat/Slim? I want to know if any future patch are scheduled to fix it. Even the aurora borealis texture is bizarre on the console. It looks like a bunch of green pixel in the sky.
