It's like Ubisoft wanted to directly showcase just how goddawful and imprecise the climbing and parkour controls are. I've done 8 so far, and each one has has instances of Layla refusing to grab a ledge several times before inexplicably succeeding after desyncing for the 5th time on the same jump.
I just finished the Isle of Whit challenge, and that one (after 90 hours of playing) inexplicably required me to do a side-eject, something not possible or ever mentioned in the rest of the game
@ubi-litten This is the most gratuitous instance you will ever see of this glitch

Here you see me wearing the hidden ones Cloak, killing the Gloweceshire Zealot, and immediately having the Mari Lwyd equipped on to me for God knows what reason. I was not even doing that story arc, so I can only guess that the stupid skull hood is programmed to appear in any cutscenes in that region
You all know exactly what I mean, you press the button, an adrenaline bar is consumed, Eivor charges towards his foe, and then stops dead in his tracks and does not tackle them. This is nothing short of insulting to the player, that this made it to the final release
Ubisoft, you need to be genuinely ashamed of this. I had to reload a save from TWO GODDAMN HOURS previously just so I can vote for a different alderman and actually progress the story. I am so [censored] elated that I'm only playing this through Uplay+, and didn't [censored] away $90CDN on this faulty non-functional product
What's especially grating to me is that Ubisoft isn't content to merely have female warriors in their games, they need to take the suspension of disbelief and make it completely non-viable with 8 foot tall Amazonians with more muscle than Schwarzenegger
Don't you guys know that Ashraf did a sexism? And that means his entire career and legacy need to be expunged from all Human history?
Mate, I think you may be confused
I think it's contextual. If they're dead AF (like if you threw them off a cliff) Eivor just uses the axe incase they're not quite totally dead.
Other (and most) kill confirms see Eivor plunging his hidden blade into their guts

@bakifra Ubisoft really needs to start putting a console into their games so that players can just toggle noclip and bypass all of the broken [censored] Ubi never tests
@dexxwar Ya between this and Watch Dogs Legion, I can see Ubisoft games dropping in technical quality. Unity may have been a mess, but it was not a fraction as frustrating as Valhalla is between button prompts not working, Raiders refusing to help open chests, and having to reload a save from 2 hours ago because you unknowingly bricked your save file by picking the wrong choice out of a possible 3

@torfinr Orlog might be fun if there were any viable strategy beyond hording tokens, playing thieving fingers over anything else, and spamming your busted God favours
Can't even see the ending because you ****s couldn't even playtest the last quest and make sure that the ****ing prompt actually appears
@cell1e How did you get rid of it?
So here I am, having beaten the main story, just cleaning up the last few order members when I kill Beorhtsige in Glowecestrescire. I notice something's up as soon as the cutscene starts, Eivor is wearing the [censored] Halloween skull cloak again, and just like in that stupid [censored] chapter, there's no way to remove it.
Thankfully I was mostly done with the game, there's simply no way I'm playing anymore with this hideous insult to quality control stuck to my face
Edit: Reloaded a save, and that goddamned piece of [censored] cloak appears on Eivor the literal second that Beorhtsige drops dead. WHAT. THE. [censored].
@elearon They're doable, but that's the problem. You just do them, you mindlessly hold forward and A while you watch Layla climb up the single pre-determined path
