My character is permanently drunk, which is causing the game to behave other than intended. Actions are being delayed or not happening at all, my character’s movement is slow, as is the camera, when the drunken wobbly effect is gone, the affects still last. Randomly my character wont move, or perform actions, a lot of times, enemies melee hit my character while not in range, it rubberband next to my character and back to range distance, which is almost exactly like what a player in an MMO does when they have a bad connection. This also causes me not to be able to lock onto any enemies. I also cannot aim with a bow, it does not bring up the first person aiming view
Is there a full list anywhere? I discovered too late into the game that most diamond runes only come from zealots, and the chance is only economical on the hardest difficulty, and I went hunting zealots very early on, so Ive missed out on most of them, and if they spawn more, I don’t know because, despite being told they’ll hunt me, they do not, and I haven’t gotten a single diamond rune from them.
I have just killed my last zealot, I think, and have discovered that the diamond rune drops are pretty similar to how Fallout 4 does it’s legendaries, in the way that you can save before looting “confirm kill” and the type of rune that drops stays, in this case Diamond, but if you reload the save, the effect changes. This will most likely be my only armor diamond rune, so Ive been reloading the save for over 2 hours trying to find something worth it, but I cant find a list of what to actually look for and im not seeing anything that matches my play style.
It started happening after the Yule event permanent drunk bug, but since the yule event has gone, the bug has lingered.
Take this really annoying Moose fight Ive had to restart 80 million times. Firstly, the moose can damage you while you’re stuck in a forced zoom in and slow movement, it can just run up and BAM you’re dead without even being able to do anything about it.
Then when you can even start fighting it, you can be hit by it and it’s blinding effect despite it being clear across the arena. Same with your attacks, you can be right up next to it and melee, but you miss because it’s not actually there, Eivor is stuck in the spirit realm, but can only see the physical realm without being able to interact with it, that’s what it feels like.
Oh yeah, it can fly! Flying moose, so much realism, just like the big guy during the drunk fight in the yule event being able to hover 5 feet above the ground.
This is the same with all boss fights since the yule event. It’s exactly like the physical appearance of being drunk, and the visual effects of being drunk are gone, but somewhere underneath the surface, it’s still going on.
Seriously, since the release there are NO fish in my ocean, my village has starved to death. Yall are too busy fixing exploits that help us get around the bugs that you refuse to fix.
@harvest_king
I can’t even call my Raven now, and the effects are there even if the character doesn’t show to be drunk. Eivor stops randomly, which is consistent with the drunken behavior, BUT he’s not wobbly or acting drunk. Enemies are not where they appear to be, for instance if Im in melee range and swing at them, my attack does no damage because they’re not actually there in that spot, sometimes Eivor isn’t even in the spot I moved him to, it’s like the drunk effect is another underlying plane of existence that Eivor’s soul is stuck in, but the player can only witness the physical top layer.
@kalex100
i cant even finish the yule fist fight, the last guy is all over the place and flying in the air like Majinn Buu all wacking me in the head with his magic bottle of teleport juice.
as for the rest of the game, it’s almost random but NPCs start doing the same thing he does.
