I experienced a missing skill this evening. On Tuesday evening I decided to get the Valhalla quests out of the way, while avoiding the crossover quest. My plan was to play the Odyssey crossover first. However last night I also wanted to get the Valhalla daily and weekly quests out of the way.
While in Glowecestre I go up a level, so I make a beeline for the shop to buy a Scroll of Knowledge, adding all 3 skill points to the 3 new Raven skills. I spent this afternoon playing Odyssey, but this evening I went back to Valhalla to do the 2 weekly quests going up another level, again in Glowecestre.
Both skill points were added to the 2 new skills in the Wolf tree. Eventually I end up in Lincoln where I go up yet another level. However instead of gaining 2 skill points, I'm rewarded with 1 Mastery Level point instead. I go to the Skill Tree only to discover that I've got 1 skill point added in as well. I added it to the Hammer in the Bear tree, but that still leaves a shortfall of 1 skill point for the Dane axe skill. Not to mention 1 point short of the new potential max Power Level.
Greetings,
As your live chat is unavailable, I'm hoping that someone will get to read this bug report.
1) The XP gleaned for ones actions, that should appear to the left of the XP Diamond fails to show up.
2) From time to time the icon displaying the number of arrows you have available for use disappears as well.
3) Occasionally the stamina bar is shifted to the the far left of the screen.
All the above began to become noticeable after the most recent update. Bug 1 always happens immediately after gleaning a Mastery Level. Bug 2 & 3 occasionally occur at the same time, though not always together. My current cure for all the above was to immediately do a manual save and then restart the game from the save. This fixes the problem with bug 1 & 2, but on Saturday and again yesterday (15th & 16th of May), my method did not cure the stamina bar problem. In order to get it back to where it should be I had to resort to closing down the game and restarting it.
In passing there is also a bug that sometimes occurs when attempting to confirm that you have avenged a fallen Viking. Instead of a dagger icon sticking up out of a body, it's sticking up out of the ground. Thus you cannot interact with it. So far this has happened to me 5 times. By comparison with the successful vengeance missions (92 to date), it's a minor matter. In fact the last 12 were stumbled upon in Ireland. I also found 2 in the same location in the same time in Ireland. Not unusual as on one occasion I avenged 2 fallen Vikings in Dover Castle in the same visit, 1 below and the other above ground.
@coastalgirl I've been experiencing the same problem on my PS4. On the handful of occasions that I've got to the final area, on luring the spearmen out and killing them, I've gone back to discover that 1 or 2 archers out of the 3 that were on the walkways have vanished into thin air. Frankly the so called hot fix has fixed nothing! This Mastery mission is in dire need of a complete overhaul. I have all 14 of the other gold medals, but this one eludes me. In fact I have to say that I've lost count of the number of times I've attempted this mission. I for one will no longer waste my time on it until it gets fully overhauled.
@silent_strike SNAP I also play the game on a PS4. On top of that I'm also stuck on power level 475. I even have 18 currently unassigned mastery points as well.

@bielik01 I found them all over the place, sometimes more than 1 on the same visit. Places like Thieves' Warren, Dhustone Quarry, Dover, Lincoln, Colchester, Canterbury and Glowecestre were all places that yielded fallen Vikings. Not to mention a few out in the countryside, some killed by snakes or ripped apart by a bear.
Can you tell me if there is a cap on the number of fallen Vikings one can avenge?
I ask this because I've not seen any fallen Vikings showing up in the usual expected places since I avenged my 999th hapless victim around the 4th or 5th of December. If there is a cap it will prevent me from achieving the personal challenge of avenging a player/Viking, which is the only personal challenge I have left to achieve from last Thursdays challenge reset on the 9th of Dec.
If there is a cap the loss of being able to glean extra experience points is going to be sorely missed...!!!

@ubi-froggard Thank you! The fact that the problem of these streams of unwelcome messages is being looked into is good news.
As to the daggers in the ground, all I can tell you is that so far as I'm aware, it only happens in the proximity to the south side of the church in Glowecestre and the entrance into Thieves' Warren. I'll do my best to let you know if it happens again. As an add-on piece of information. The faulty quest remains in the quest log until you travel out of England.
I don't recall when these inane messages about New Quests and Multiple Quest started, but they are all linked to hapless fallen Vikings. In my opinion they are completely unnecessary. For the most part I relied on Eivor providing a clue to a fallen Viking with a comment, such as "Interesting!", "What This?", or "Well Now", along with a few other short mutterings. Not to mention keeping an eye out for the tell tale icon just in case.
The repeat reminders about a New Quest are annoying to say the least, even before you get to interact with the body. Even more so are the constant reminders about multiple quests, which I think should actually read; "You Have Multiple Perpetrators". Usually triggered by looting something on the way to the body and even after interacting with the body.
Then of course there is the case of getting the message of a New Quest on Saturday the 23rd of October while in Colchester. As per usual Eivor starts a slow 360 degree turn, only to find nothing. Going to the map, again no fallen Viking icon anywhere on the map. For the duration of my time in the town Eivor is getting constant reminders.
On the following day, Sunday the 24th of October, while causing havoc and mayhem in Lincoln, the same thing happened again.
Earlier this evening (25th of October), shortly after arriving in Glowecestre I get a message that there is a fallen Viking somewhere. I do a slow scan and sure enough an icon appears at the western end of the church. I dash to the spot and interact with the body. One of the perpetrators is lying near the Viking (who's already been assassinated!), the other is nothing more than a dagger sticking up out of the ground a short distance from the south doorway of said church. You cannot interact with a dagger that is sticking up out of the ground. In fact this is the 12th time I've encountered this bug as I've been keeping a record of such happenstances. Not that I should complain too much, considering that 747 Vikings have been successfully avenged to date.
Why is it that unlike the inventory listings, shops everywhere in Valhalla provide a right royal untidy mess. A mess where the listings keep changing. It's like a real shop selling toilet paper mixed in with tinned foods, or chocolate stacked up alongside household cleaning items. It's way past time for someone to tidy up the items for sale, especially the top section. While runes of the same type appear together so that you can find what you want to sell that much faster. Right now searching for duplicates that are scattered all over the show is a tedious chore.
Even the trinkets are an untidy mess and need putting back the way they were originally. I can only speak for myself, but I keep at least one of every trinket, for reference if nothing else. I actually got into the habit of not selling any trinket until I've accumulated 11 or more of the same item. Then sell the excess over 1.

This may or may not be a new Valhalla glitch. It's certainly the first time I've ever come across such an event.
Yesterday I arrived outside the bandit camp known as Thieves' Warren. A daily quest to rescue a damsel in distress. Strangely the sound of conflict is already coming from the camp as Eivor approaches it. The bulk of the bandits in the camp are going ape, trying to kill an intruder to no avail. The intruder being a male NPC civilian waddling around in the camp, with almost all the bandits using ranged slingshots or in the case of the Goliath's lumps of rock at the said intruder, who is clearly taking no damage. This made things easier than normal to clear the bandits from the camp and at one point, pick up and avenge a fallen Viking, to then eventually rescuing the female captive. It should also be noted that once the last bandit was taken care of, the NPC disappeared. Poof! Gone!? One knows not where, and one doesn't care! The less I see of such bugs the better!!!
While on the subject of avenging hapless novice Vikings. Yesterday for the 6th time of asking I find that one of three daggers is sticking out of the ground near the south side of the church in Glowecestre. You cannot interact with daggers sticking up out of the ground. This problem occurred in the early stages of being able to avenge fallen Vikings 5 times in the past (one of which was in exactly the same place in Glowecestre). However this problem seemed to clear up. At least until yesterday. According to my Ubisoft Connect stats I've avenged no less than 287 fallen Vikings up to last night, so I supposed 6 failed avenge missions is nothing to worry about unduly.
@sixpounder85 It's much more like black smoke to me!!! Either way, mud or smoke, at least you can toggle vibration off.
