@b00msie seriously ubisoft hire some game testers, STOP TREATING US LIKE GAME TESTERS if u wanna do that then pay us
@cap-cla play mount and blade 2 dude u can do this stuff. having a family isnt really what assassins creed is all about. i mean if ubisoft just adds it for... whatever reason yeah cool great but like i can think of a million other aspects to the game that demands attention before we even think about starting a family.
@thenorfolkian senu was the smartest bird so far. origins is a masterpiece
Im not talking about recreating the world to be like odyssey many people have stated thats impossible rn whatever, what IS clearly possible is adding brand new game modes, so why not make conquest war a new game mode, ubisoft talks about trying to give us repeatable content but fails in regards to incentive to contiue playing, why not reimplement those conquest battles from odyssy into valhalla, without making it smaller scale. All i hear is poor excuse after poor excuse as to why ubisoft wont add them, for crying out loud i was half expecting to enter into a conquest battle the first time eivor met king alfred with his giant army standing guard. its not history breaking its not impossible its not even game breaking, to add them, it would just simply be a new entertaining game mode that involves going to battle against a large army, and killing a bunch of people like a true viking warrior. We do not have this is any shape or form in the game rn. sieges are cool i wish they were repeatable but they are just not conquest battles from odyssey. I would like to have repeatable sieges along side repeatable conquest battles in this new game mode im suggesting. Can u imagine tho, doing river raids to gain supplys for a siege, then before the siege begins u have to do a conquest battle and after that conquest battle u unlock the siege then after the siege u now control the fortificatiob wich will give u trade supplys like u have in irelands ringforts. the trade supplys would give u gear or cosmetic items which can be used/equiped and/or sold at merchants for extra silver then after a period of time your fortification gets attacked and u must defend it and if u lose u have to do more river raids to prep for another siege to retake your lost fortress, It just sounds sooo badass I just dont know if im gonna be heard or not.
@thenorfolkian sure once ubisoft fixes the glitch where i dont get my watch tower after buying it ill probly want it real bad as well
@thenorfolkian u know what tho i agree about the part that it should have been there since the beginning, and would have made more sense if it was there since the beginning, not sure why ubisoft decided to cut the feature, could have just been to get back to the core of what ac is about? Somehow i highly doubt it as we still dont have much of an assassins arc as of yet. One could make the argument tho that the reason why we dont have conquest battles early on in the main game is because the raven clan just doesnt have the numbers until the end game, But the way this SHOULD be implemented is hiring warriors from norway, maybee have a few prep missions before doing the actual conquest battle. I understand its weird timing to have this added so late but this is ubisoft were talking about they litterally just gave us one handed swords to play with lol.
@thenorfolkian AHAH now were talking this is brilliant!!
@thenorfolkian I think this would make good use of the jomsviking system that ubisoft has stated "is very dear to us" another detail id add is sometimes if u have lost enough honor in norway it might trigger a conquest battle against norwegian opponents.
As i have previously stated that conquest battles should make a return in ac valhalla in a unique way that fits the game another system id like to see added (or i thought should have been added) is caravan escort missions. What normally comes to mind is ac3 or even black flags trading missions (which i loved btw) but i was thinking of a more proactive mini game that would take place in ireland and involve the trade posts, i mean we have them.. they generate rescources and they are just THERE which is cool and all but what i would have liked to see would look something like u have this horse drawn cart full of a particular trade good. say it contains cloth, u would have to ride your horse (maybee your jomsviking can come with u on his own horse) along side the trade cart from your ring fort all the way to dublin and u would have to defend it from hostile celts and druids who would periodically attack the trade cart in an effort to steal the rescorces for themselves. Upon completion u would get 3000 of that particular trade good instead of just 300 from the chest in dublin.. or maybee even better rewards depending on how long the jorney was as some ring forts are further away than others.
just an idea, something my brain was telling me would totally be in the game but wasnt
@ubi-borealis OH MY GOSH!!! I CANT BELIEVE I MISSED THAT!!! THATS FLIPPING AWSOME!!!

@berezanos well technically hes not wrong tho. let me explain why. Ubisoft has stated that eivor is canonically female even tho u CAN play as a male, i think THAT is mainly what he was refering to, other than that yeah we got a few women in the game but i see more dudes than females. But thats not y ubisoft has disrespected the viking culture by making the game as it is. ubisoft has disrespected the viking culture because the neglected to add SHIELD WALL BATTLES TO THE GAME(basically just a revamp to conquest battles) once ubisoft decides to get off their lazy [censored].. arses?.. and add this as a new game mode then they will have restored the honor of the scandinavian people.
hint hint ubisoft.
@torfinr thats pretty cool THEY FOUND A LEGIT SHIELD MAIDEN!!
I bought the watch tower from the vendor at the sigrblot festival and its nowhere to be found, after i made the purchase it dissapeared from the vendor as tho i owned it but the icon didnt appear on the screen as it usually does when i buy things from vendors or when i pick up items. Its just not there, and there is no way to get it again. is anyone else having this issue?
@lj4mma so the reason why i as well as millions of other players enjoyed it all the way through is only because of the hype train and that we cant make our own decisions but only follow what advertisers tell us?? I...I understand where ur coming from that everyone is crazy for liking it, because this is exactly how i feel about no mans sky, but this game i actually do enjoy and i still play
@anglas38 make a new series alltogether in the same universe as ac, but with ac from here on out being only about assassins vs templars. im in!
@b00msie well i mean im not trying to sound negative but this is the last ac game im ever going to buy if THIS is the direction they want to go.. its just not worth it to me, i mean the only reason y i even bought valhalla was because i thought it was going to be odyssey but with vikings in enland, and it kind of fell short, so.. now that i realise ubisoft wants to downgrade their future games im out after this
