Hey!
My "Mimir" head tattoo is not showing on my character. It's applied and everything, the icon shows a specific pattern - yet it's not shown on my character.
Is there a fix to this or is this already known to the dev team?
@doctordoom11235 To be fair, Ubi had been moving more and more away from the true lore of the series, that it all plays out in a simulated reality.
But if you follow that entirely why are you even playing the game, it could just be a movie if you don't have any choice than to do and follow exactly the things that your character did and did not do.
It's not like they went into depth as why you could do it in Origins so why would they need to somehow explain why you're allowed/not allowed to in Valhalla. I'm sure no one would be confused or mad that you can do it in Valhalla because that would make more sense (since you are a viking after all) than to figuring out why you could do it in Origins.
Ubisoft are approaching the entire series in a more and more of a historical game than a creed following brotherhood/sisterhood which follow strict rules, which by the way is really cool but it's not what AC is about anymore. So far.
To be honest, I would think it's much cooler if you could be what you want in the game and either be a ruthless berserk viking or a humble and wise assassin-esque viking. They should drop the animus-shtick excuse and let us do what we want in the game(s).
@strotee Yeah it's insane. I feel bad for the player support team for having to keep up with this thread that is literally been here since release. If you look at the top you can see my comment that they merged with this megathread. Been here since NOVEMBER 11th 2020! That's a day after the official release.
I would not be surprised if the problem is still here november 11th 2021.
Hi,
I actually reported this issue November 11th 2020 (check my post history). Granted I never responded to the kind staff member since I just couldn't be bothered to record it and whatever, but I haven't picked up the game since very recently (post- 1.2 update and now 1.2.1).
I am completely flabbergasted at the fact that this hasn't been fixed yet! The dev team has the saves, has the videos etc, everything they have requested. But won't say a word on their process. I know it might be time consuming but as customers and users most of us would love to get some more technical explanation as to why this is happening.. Or at least what the team suspect is the issue.
I would personally most likely get more a sense of that they actually care about this issue and aren't just having some poor staff member do free PR and say that "they're on it" time and time again.
Regards,
David.
@ehllfhire1 Face mask? Let's keep things game-related.
@ubi-mark Thank you for the info!
I truly respect your resolve, I'm not sure I'd be able to keep reading peoples issues all day long. I appreciate your activity in this thread!
The legendary upgrade to the helmet 'Reaper's Helm' doesn't add the mask filter to voiceover from Eivor. Since it's previous tier it only appears as a regular mouth covering mask I'm guessing that is where the problem lies. But currently when it is enhanced to the highest tier (Mythical) it still doesn't add the filter to Eivors voice, which means that the voice just sounds regular like Eivor doesn't have a mask covering his face.

@souldrinkerlp Not an argument or anything that I have something directly against but Valhalla do have the same reused model for certain buildings. Like some churches that have a destroyed roof are reused around the map. Although not very close.
@toffeers I've noticed that things like doors and a lot of small detail stuff which makes a virtual world feel alive are incredibly bad, something as trivial as a door literally look like it's from minecraft.

@mitsunari3 This put my comment in a much better way, have a thumbs up!

I am unable to take the thing in Old Cave for Excalibur. I've filled the hole with the wine but there's no button for me to retrieve the item as I stand on or near the hole.
