@Maxos667 I made the changes on my desktop as well and played for 5 hours without a single crash.
Thanks again for your help!
@iainb78 Well I did as you suggested. On my laptop (6GB of VRAM on the GTX 2060) I lowered some of the graphical settings down to get my usage below 50% and it seems to have worked.
Unfortunately shadows didn't move it down, I ended up having to lower the world clutter and world texture resolution but it still looks good and I played for over an hour without a crash.
Thanks!
@maxos667 Thanks for the reply, I'll give that a shot!
I've actually had this problem for a few weeks, just now getting around to trying to get it fixed.
I have 54 hours into the game, 44% completed and now the game crashes constantly on 2 different computers. I can't play for more then 15 minutes or so and the game crashes. On my desktop it crashes so hard I typically have to reboot my computer. My laptop seems to recover better and doesn't need a reboot.
Desktop - i7 8700k, 16GB of RAM, GTX 1070
Laptop - i7 9750H, 16GB of RAM GTX 2060
Both computers are running Windows 10 64-bit Home and are up to date with patches. All drivers are up to date on both computers and no issues playing any other games (Division2, Destiny 2, Modern Warfare/BlackOps, World of Warcraft)
I tried pasting in my DxDiag for the laptop but it's too long.
This is really frustrating.
