I am doing a mission where I have to search for information in a beach resort type of area, the search area is pretty large. I silently take out a sniper at the far end of the area, move deeper and take out few additional guards. Then after maybe 3 or 4 kills all the guards I have already passed and taken out respawn in their posts. This creates a tedious whack-a-mole situation where I can't truly clear a area when the minimap shows that additional guards are constantly spawning in. They don't even arrive at the scene, they just plop into existence out of thin air. This also applies to going loud, you are constantly getting surrounded by magically respawning enemies from all sides.
This extremely lazy game design and should be patched as soon as possible.
@igrvks
As I am only allowed to make edits for 10 minutes after the initial post I am forced to double post.
I am at a runway, tasked to take out enemy planes that are parked there. On the runway perimeter there are multiple snipers, with few roaming guards among the planes. I take out the first snipers, and them move to the other end of runway to pick up stragglers. Everyone who I took out 30 seconds ago have respawned at the other end. You can literally watch them reappear on the minimap, it's based on line of sight so every time you turn your back on enemy corpse they come back to life.
In it's current state stealth is absolutely pointless in this game because of infinite respawning enemies. This is extremely frustrating and needs to be patched immediately.
I think that if this amount of enemies is a conscious design choice by Ubisoft like some people on Reddit seem to think, they should at least tweak the system to seem more realistic than materializing the enemies out of thin air right next to you. Make them at least arrive to the scene by vehicles, to seem like actual reinforcements.
I think the ideal system would be that 5-10 minutes after clearing a base with stealth they send one jeep to check out why they are not responding to comms, then after spotting all the dead bodies they would call for reinforcements that arrive to the scene by troop transport. If you go loud this interval would be much shorter naturally. This would make it much more tolerable if this amount of enemies is indeed a design choice.
Edit: Here is a great video that showcases how absolutely ridiculous this respawning is:
@commandernomad
It is absolutely ridiculous that your armor piercing bullets suddenly make less damage when they hit a non armored head.
@razielkanos
It's actually based on line of sight instead of time. Just look away from the corpse and walk away until the enemy position is roughly on the edge of minimap and they respawn.
I am not exaggerating, I think this makes the game unplayable since I am a stealth oriented player.
A heashot should always be a headshot. It's ridiculous how the enemy damage threshold is determined by the region level-gating.
There should also be a possibility to hack those AA platforms to turn them against enemy aircraft.

"Eivor is not a homicidal maniac"
According to who? I have completed 23% of the game so far and Eivor has slaughtered, decapitated and impaled literally hundreds of people.
"You cant just go around slaughtering people because muh honor"
You do realize that when you raid a village with your war party, the red glowing "bad guys" are the brothers, sisters, spouses and parents of the villagers? They don't just materialize out of thin air and be inherently evil, deserving death? They are literally defending their home from a invading horde, which is lead by the player.
After you have raided a village, burned down the houses, robbed the entire place of all the valuable materials and killed a huge amount of their working age population it is literally a ridiculous stretch to claim that not being able to kill the remaining villagers who now face almost certain starvation come next winter is somehow a merciful act and shows the compassion and humanity of Eivor/the Animus user.
I'm all for equality, everyone gets killed.
@mrbikerfr
100% agree. There are some places on the map where multiple regions converge so you just constantly get spammed with disappearing interface until you move away from that area.
Yes please!
While on subject I think the "real" suppressors need a a major buff compared to resolver ones. It's ridiculous that a "real" suppressor catches fire after a few shots but one literally made from a plastic jug and trash can keep chugging along.
Alternatively you should allow us to transmog the most powerful attachments to look like what we want.
Oh and let us hide the stupid supremo backpack? I know you are really proud of your resolver theme but that thing is just ridiculous and sticks out like a sore thumb in cutscenes.
Calling it now, next time we see the name Ghost recon on a project it will be a diet Tarkov style extraction shooter.
@Killorio
2023 will be the absolutely last chance for Ubisoft to continue operating as it's own entity. If this direction of tone deaf management, non existent community engagement and carbon copy games continue any longer the smoldering corpse of Ubisoft, it's assets and IPs will be crudely chopped up and sold in pieces to gigacorps like Embracer, Tencent or Microsoft.
Then again, looking at the past few years maybe there are some rogue elements within management who are intentionally driving the company value down to make that acquisition much cheaper...

Finally. It is a good thing they finally said it out loud. Breakpoint is dead, and has been for a good while now.
I still have some vague, fanboyish hopes they actually learned from this entire ordeal and that possibly could reflect on a future GR title in a positive way, but after all past developments it might be just the best possible outcome that this franchise has finally come to a very unflattering end.
Rest in peace.
@igrvks
I seriously hate so much how this game constantly takes the control away from me to either tell me something I already know or to just take FOREVER in a reward screen or something similar. A game like this should always prioritize getting the player back to playing as soon as possible. This handholding is just absurd!
This entire forced intro is extremely boring after already doing it once. There should be a option to skip and just dive straight in the game. Just let go of my hand already.
I would actually really like this option. It's highly unlikely to be implemented in FC6 but in future titles most definitely.
It's really weird when Dani goes prone in cutscenes but you can't do that in gameplay.
@georgemonero
All in all, I have had a generally positive experience with this game. I am a big fan of "modern far cry" gameplay loop so much of the criticism aimed at this game has not really applied to me. The constant enemy respawning is definitely a issue I would like to see fixed ASAP and I would also like to see a more challenging difficulty option in the future.
@animuslover
I understand your point but there is absolutely no need to insult less skilled players like that, kind of a toxic attitude that doesn't help anyone. You can also run spec ops solo if randoms are so irritating to you.
@virtual-chris
The thing is, if you enjoyed FC3, 4 and 5 or like the general gameplay loop of "modern far cry", there is some fun to be had with FC6, even with it's shortcomings that at least hopefully will see a patch at some point. It is a solid "modern Far Cry" game, like a summer action movie.
Not full retail price fun, but for a significant good discount definitely worth checking out. The demon howls of Ubisoft executives drive into GAAS is present, but there are moments where you are deep in the jungle, or infiltrating a oil platform in the middle of the night where at least I could say personally that I am having fun with the game.
Especially if you introduce some roleplaying and headcanon in the mix, like you have done with Breakpoint with multiple amazing threads.
@lamoi
If you ever end up feeling like trying FC6 again, I highly recommend to just buy 1 month of Ubisoft + and turning off auto-renew. That way you only get shafted for like 10-15 pounds (sorry I dont know the current exchange rate but it's 15€) but also, Ubisoft only gains that much from you instead of full 60 pounds.
This is exactly what I did, and I have been very happy with what I got for that amount.
